Ordered chicken strip box comboBut chicken was not good and fries were very little as they were closing in half an hour staff just throw left over fires in the box.Staff didn't double check the order while ordering and it was bit confusion while paying. And there was a rude comment from the back staff.
The food is ok. I was in a mood for sweet and salty. So a hot fudge Sundae with extra fudge and peanuts seemed a reasonable choice.Apparently DQ doesn't have peanuts. According to the cashier they use pecans. Pecans and peanuts completely different types of nuts.So I asked "What about your peanut buster parfait? To which the cashier replied: We don't use peanuts on that we use a peanut sauce...The Peanut Buster parfait is actually one of my favorites except it's a little too much for me so I settle for the Sundae. At first I was thinking okay it's possible maybe it's an allergy thing. Then I realized well if they use a peanut sauce it can't be an allergy thing. Finally another staff member came out to assist with the growing lineup behind me as I'm trying to comprehend what is going on they noticed she's punching in a few things wrong so they helped her out and put in peanuts...I understand if you don't know a menu if you're new but don't sit there argue with a knowing customer then start making up lies. Ask for assistance.Don't lie.
Wouldn't even give a one star but have to, to continue. My sister, my husband and myself went out for a late afternoon lunch and since we have never ate at the Dairy Queen, except for ice cream, we decided to try the food. First off, our fountain drinks were so flat and watered down that we decided to try more than one kind but they were all the same. To add to our drinks my husband found a bug crawling inside the top of the cup. No ice for our pop in the ice machine and after repeatedly getting some ice in a cup a staff member decided to fill the ice machine. The ice machine must have been broken because after the staff member filled it we still could not get any ice and not one of the staff members as well as a snotty manager tried to accommodate us by solving the problem. My sister and I ordered a chicken burger with fries and my husband order chicken fingers with fries. My sister's chicken burger and my chicken burger were totally disgusting. They were so deep fried that the outside coating was hard with a very rancid smell and taste. The inside was a disgusting brown color from being in the fryer too long or from old cooking oil no doubt, not white like chicken is suppose to be. We spoke to a staff member at the counter and asked if this is how they do their burgers and they said yes they deep fry them. We then decided to approach the manager with a complaint about the food and drinks we got and the manager snarly answered with a response that the burgers could have been old stock and why did we not complain sooner. We told him we tried and got no results. We told him it is his responsibility to check dates on food and not to serve outdated food that could make people sick. He is certainly not manger material and getting it right is certainly not his priority. We will never eat at another Dairy Queen in Peterborough. My sister and I did not feel well after eating here and we are attempting to pass this on to the Heath Unit about the improper use of food.
We just brought an order home from going through the drive thru and we are very disappointed. Firstly, we got 4 meal deals and they did not include any straws for the drinks. Secondly, 2 of the 4 drinks were straight carbonated water without any flavouring. These are 2 things that should be checked off as things are packed and as shifts are finished. Machine maintenance is understandable but during warmer weather you would think the staff would be on top of things like this. The drive thru wasn't even that busy for these items to be overlooked.
Paid $15 for blizzard soup. They didn’t even bother to flip them upside down, as I am sure they would have just poured out. We had to immediately put them in our freezer at home and are now waiting for them to become ice cream. Save yourself and drive the extra 10ft to Kawartha Dairy.
My order was completely wrong and I'm fairly certain that I was overcharged, but I don't know for sure because they didn't give me a receipt either. This was all after an over 25 minute wait, with 5 cars in front of me.
Where the heck the ultimate burger and other good ones? No.Lol just no.Double bacon slops with saltAll I taste is saltWon't be back
Went in yesterday morning to pick up a ice cream cake. They add the writing on it for me. They did a good job thanks.
Good food. Delicious ice cream. Staff is friendly.
Manager was very rude to an employee in front of us. She handled the situation VERY unprofessionally and her aggression carried over into the transaction that she handled afterwards and the one after that. She then proceeded to yell in front of the whole restaurant about how the young employee was to blame. Her whole demeanour was very aggressive and even when handing us our ice cream she was rude. She also placed my bare spoon on the counter for several minutes and then put it into my ice cream in the middle of a pandemic which is disgusting.
