Great cappuccino (beans are Ruffalo) and also a pastry with cheese and bacon. I sat on the cool and quiet back patio.I haven’t spent much time in Peterborough. This place is in a really nice old 3-storey brick building, surrounded by similar. They’re all around in the cool and shady back patio. They are fantastic building stock and I hope that they are preserved.
Today was a great way to start the day, delicious lattes served with a smile (even if I snuck in too early, oops!) Glad this remains an option for great coffee downtown.Anyone complaining about the character or quirkiness of the staff should seek one of the many corporate coffee robot-like options, beep boop.
place is okay, but I will never go there before work in the morning again. They are often too slow, but last time there there was a lineup of 10 people and one barista was sipping on her drink and chatting with a friend while the manager sits on a stool near the line and farts around on his phone. Not asking much, maybe allocate break times better?
Cozy & very welcoming. Desserts & drinks are amazing. Love their music choice. The vibe here is on point. It's my fav spot in town!!!?
i love this place! great coffee and a great atmosphere, always friendly staff!*** update: the owner was not wearing a mask on two seperate occasions, it was constantly under his chin. i love this place but was definitely turned off by the owner not wearing a mask while serving food and drinks and being in close contact with employees. (this was a month or two ago, on two occasions, before the new covid precautions and masks were required)
the food was amazing here — I got the banana berry smoothie and the apple prosciutto sandwich with walnuts. the atmosphere was excellent, with beautiful art on the walls. and the staff were so friendly and helpful! a great place to study or unwind with a book.
love this little coffee shop, we stop in every time we are in town. Best London fog in Peterborough! love that they usually have a couple gluten free treats.
The food, for a croissant sandwich and a dried out Quiche with a tea and a coffee, was over priced. The quiche as previously stated was dried out and the sandwich was more like a finger sandwich due to the size. The only thing big here was the price.
Great vibe. Beer on tap and an espresso machine. Sitting area in the back is a great place to chat or get lost in your book.
Good coffee - not too acidic or overbrewed. Got a flat white and enjoyed it. Their food items are decent for take out on the go.
