One other item though after picking up my Husband's dinner..Teen Burger, and Fries...They were out of Onion Rings...what's with this??? Something has drastically changed at this location in many ways, and quality of food has gone down. It used to be awesome.
As A&Was go this one was top-notch. The food is regular A&W but the service really sets this location apart. I was pleasantly surprised - Hence the unusually high mark for a fast food joint.
Super friendly staff at the drive thru; delicious fresh food: soft bun, crisp lettuce, juicy tomato, right amount of condiments - fantastic. And fresh apple turnovers -- at 11pm! Really great.
Rude night staff!! Specially Vikas K and Raman or Ramandeep. They come around other restaurants on their days off as couriers for skip the dishes and door dash and pressure staff to make their orders first when informed that their orders are not going to be made as there are other orders ahead of them. Also, I used to visit this location for their momma burgers and sweet potato fries but in the last one year it has gone downhill. Charred burgers and buns and zero sense of customer service. The other 1 star reviews speak for themselves or all the reviews in the last few months. Tried reaching to managers in store but did not feel comfortable as they are from the same boat and will protect their own. There is a reason why McDonald's across the street has a line up and this one has one car in the drive thru.
Fantastic burgers and chilled glasses of root beer. No antibiotics or hormones in the food. High quality at a fast pace with great aesthetics.
Great service. Had traditional breakfast of fried eggs, bacon and toast. Hashbrowns were to also be on our order, but despite it only being 10 o'clock, there were none available therefore we were given fries which was a bit disappointing...other than that, we quite enjoyed our breakfast...will definitely return!!
I think A&W has ONE of the best tasting burgers out of all the fast food restaurants, I live in Peterborough and its at this location where I usually buy burgers from but was always disappointed with the quality of burger, some time ago a went to an A&W restaurant in Toronto and ordered the same burger I usually get, to my disbelief I thought to myself is this how A&W burger is supposed to taste? I couldn't believe how juicy and tasty it was, now what has caused me to right this review is because I have in front of me the rest of a burger from this location here in Peterborough that I have no intention of finishing.
So this is like second time I've ever eaten A&W, and they did forget one of the drinks I ordered. The food itself wasn't terrible, but the portion sizes are a complete rip off for the price. It's ridiculous needless to say two times is enough, I will never go to A&W again.
Not a great experience to say the least. Food is expensive/overrated. Wait times are brutal. The staff are rude, slow, and belligerent. I really did want to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but that blew up in my face after last night. The girl at the drive thru window was so ill mannered I nearly lost it. Does not surprise me to see so many negative, one star comments here. I'm finished with this place.
I'll never eat breakfast on the go anywhere else again. They have the best breakfast. Everything fresh and yummy
