We ordered the classic triple with the ‘Pony Up’, ‘Dry Spicy Garlic’, and ‘Smoke that Jerk’ sauces and the food was great! On top of that, our server Daniel was very pleasant and patient, checked in on us just often enough, and got our food to us quickly. 10/10 we would recommend and we’ll definitely be coming back to this location for the great food and service.
WORST FOOD EVER. My mother and I started with the calamari which took over 30 mins, it was over cooked. I had the dry breaded wings… let me tell you, the taste was similar to KFC which I would’ve rather ate! Was definitely not worth almost $100 bill, it all went into the garbage. And now… Both of our stomachs have been sick since after eating their food. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.I had to rate this with a 1 star because I have no choice. It doesn’t deserve even that!!! Very disappointed.
I honestly was expecting after reading the reviews to wait for a long time and we kind of did.But! But! It may have been the best wings I have ever tasted and the service was great! I will definitely be back.
**update** I got a call from the owner who was very understanding and polite. She understood our position and apologized and also explained the issues.I just had the worst customer service experience of my life. I was at 1430 Prince of Wales location with my wife and 2 small kids and I waited there for more than 30 minutes. No one even bothered to ask for a glass for water. We left hungry there and even then no one bothered to care. The place wasn't even busy for them to just ignore us. When asked how long it would take to be served, I was told they don't know, it could be a while. Very very shameful
Purchased 7 orders of wings all plain for a birthday event with sauces on the side. When we got home with our order all of the sauces were on the wings which is not good as some of the sauces were way to spicy for other guests. When we called the “manager” was extremely rude, did not apologize for the mistake but instead decided to tell me I was wrong and proceeded to hang up in my face. Never in my life have I been spoken to like that as a customer. Their customer service was beyond disgusting and I will never be ordering from this place again. Beware if they make a mistake they do not take ownership and blame the customer and hang up on you. They told me they would call me back after speaking to the other manager and I haven’t heard back since. They ruined a meal that was paid for with “15% tip” when we did not even dine in but did take out. Extremely unappreciative of their customers business and disgusting treatment. Beware.
Wings were good. We had 3 different types & enjoyed all 3 with different sauces. The wings had a lot of meat on them. All & all, very tasty!
Half price Tuesdays are the best. The sauce choices are pretty good.
Magnificent wings. Yes, there are equally as good elsewhere in the city, but the choices offered by wild wings for sauces, rubs, brewed/non breaded or boneless is second to none.Service at the Hogs Back location is great. Attentive, ready to serve but not constantly in your face nor unviable when needed.
I haven't had a chance to dine-in yet, but I've ordered take out and delivery a few times. I always get the Crispy Chicken sandwich w/ cajun chippers. It's the best I've had at any restaurant and it's always hot and fresh when it gets here!
