i love whole foods so much. i’m so angry we don’t have one in halifax, but every time i’m in ottawa i make sure to visit. as a vegetarian, it is so great to have a grocery store with so many options! i am also so happy they have their dine in back! i love love love their buffet style meals.
A bit pricier than some other groceries, still has all the essentials and caters to the more organic and alternative choices people may have. On the second floor through an escalator or elevator, the bottom has their own café area you can also sit in.
Feel like buying the same food you can get elsewhere for twice the price? This is the spot for you! Everything is marked up, and most of the products are available elsewhere for less. Organic? Sure, much of it. But you can get that elsewhere for cheaper too. I haven't gone often, but when I have, staff hasn't been particularly friendly.It was open family day, and I needed some dinner supplies, so points for that.
It can be a bit expensive, but every product is pretty much top-of-the-line as far as quality goes. Just keep an eye out for sales.The atmosphere is inviting, the store is very clean, and the staff are friendly.There's so many options and different brands to explore!
On March 4th, 2022 around 1:30pm, I bought a Lamb shoulder roast and asked to cut for stew size. He said a butcher will cut for me. I said I will shop around and come back to pick the package. When I was ready to make lamb stew and opened the package at home, I found it was not cut at all. They are not not honest!!! I often bought lamb there because it says it's grass-fed lamb and asked to cut the stew size. Most of time, they were not very happy to cut for me so I kept thank them, but I often got straight face in return. I am not sure the store policy for the cutting service. I am will to pay for the cutting service, but I would much rather receive much better customer service. Very very disappointed. I will shop other place from now on.
I really enjoy Whole Foods due to its wide selection of organic foods and products to meet specific dietary requirements. This Whole Foods is always clean and the staff is always very nice and helpful. Underground parking with validation is a nice perk, especially in the winter. The only downside to this store is that it doesn’t have the same breadth of products as other Whole Foods, and it rarely has the more healthy pre-made chicken/veggie meals available at other whole foods, but rather ones made with gluten.
Whole Foods is a really eco-friendly supermarket and you won't find a more friendly shopping experience. They have a great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. The organic and ethical options for seafood and meats is exceptional. The staff is phenomenal.
Was there today and the organization does not enforce mandated health policies (i.e., they don't enforce masks). Keep this mind when shopping here, and what you're supporting. There are many other better options in town to support that are also safer.
What a beautiful urban luxury! This is an amazing store. The aisles are nice and wide, easily accessible and filled with gorgeous delites. Organic, fresh, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, whatever you need is there. Happy shopping ?
The food was absolutely delicious and the catering staff went above and beyond my expectations. I cannot thank them enough for all of their assistance!
