Wanted to like it. Service was good, food not so much. Kids' pizza was horrible, mushy. I ordered "roast beef " that I think was grilled but was tough as boot leather. The child hated the "pizza " so I cut parts of my meat into tiny pieces as it was hard to chew. Wife's chicken wrap was OK. There was too much to complain about, so we sucked it up. Very Canadian eh? Wasted $100.
Great location and gorgeous patio.Food is usually good but a little overpriced compared to other local spots. Drinks also more expensive than other nearby pubs.Service is not great…they are understaffed (like many other places right now) so it’s a bit slow, but many of the staff don’t seem happy like they want to be there.Had one specific bad experience recently it was between 8pm-12pm on a weekend.Server ID’d one person in our small party, and then gave that person a bit of a hard time for not ordering food, and then gave that same person a hard time when they ordered a second drink. She questioned the drink order and made it sound like a big deal to open another bottle of Jameson (it was 10pm on a Saturday).One person in the party ordered white wine and was brought red.One person ordered a rye and ginger and it tasted like water with a hint of whiskey. No lime either.Never asked how everything was. Never checked in. Had to flag her or go across the restaurant to the bar to ask. It wasn’t that busy either.Will be back again likely, hopefully things improve throughout the summer :)

Had an amazing time last Saturday! Live music is back and it’s awesome! Staff are beyond nice and attentive! Great time cannot wait for our next visit
The atmosphere was nice but the place was understaffed. There was only one waitress working the entire bar and had to sit people (and check vaccination passes), take drink and food orders, and make the drinks themselves. At one point she forgot to serve our table and we had to eventually go to bar to re-order our drinks. When she brought them to our table she said they were on the house, but when our final bill came she charged us for them anyway. She didn't have to comp our drinks in the first place, but at least follow through if you say you will. Again, I don't want to place the entire blame on her as the bar only staffed one person.
Food was not good at all. Burger buns were not thawed. Blackened fish was way too salty and over seasoned. Vegetables were very greasy. Service was good. I always want to like it, but this is giving it a third try and the food has gone seriously down hill over the years. Stick to just getting beers.
The service was friendly and excellent. I was a little disappointed in my Mow-chos which were extremely salty and very bare bones and dry though. I get them from almost every Mow around me but these were just not great. The poutine was good.
Great food and very good beer. The upper level outdoor patio is very cute in the evening. The reason I gave it a 4 stars out of 5 is due to their prices on some items. For exemple , you ONLY get 2 small tacos for 15$ when other places offer three tacos. Especially following the pandemic and building customers, price is important as their quality is already on par.
