Patty was super dry. I asked the waitress if I could get one not so dry and she told me they all come that way. I asked why and she said it was the law that it had to be well done. I said that is over well. So I didn't eat it. I've had burgers with a very little bit of pink and it was amazing. I have even had well done with a little bit of grease and was really good, but that was well over done no moisture. I will not be going back. Customers should have the choice.
The family and I went here for my Nephew's birthday as it is his favorite restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the server was courteous, but overall, I was not impressed. The server never checked up on us if we wanted to order another round of drinks. My side order of sweet potato fries were very small in portion compared to some of the fries on the other plates and they were overcooked and tasted burnt so I left them aside. I didn't voice a complaint as I did not want to cause a scene for my nephew's sake. The bill came to over $40 for basically a burger and 2 drink orders. The saving grace was the burger. It was thick, juicy, and delicious, but it was not worth the price. Next time someone suggests The Works, I will give it a pass.
Ate at The Works manor park on July 21st. Kaitlin service was excellent and so was her personality and knowledge. We took the Tom Green and A Taste of Heaven. Both were excellent with cold adult beverages.
If you are feeling like a burger, this place has a huge selection. Food was good. Menu was complicated.
Never disappointed in the quality of the food and service. Would highly recommend. Best burgers in town.
Went for a late night drink and bite after visiting one of the local businesses. Was told to sit wherever we want instead of the late nighters shoved into the same section ♥️. For a first timer the burger menu was a bit overwhelming, but I never felt rushed. Our server was a delight and let us finish our drinks well after closing. We even grabbed an Oreo shake to finish the night. Would definitely recommend a go with a small group of friends.
Incredibly overrated for an $80 meal. Made me realize why I haven't come here in 5 years.Burgers were overcooked like leather, and have a similar quality to what you can buy in the frozen food aisle and they had premade, obviously shipped in sauteed onions/sun-dried tomatoes that taste like a dirty counter top.Service was alright, not incredibly attentive but not awful.
I was in Ottawa for the weekend and wanted to try some local places for dinner. Came here on our second night and it was the best decision! Our server Kaitlyn was absolutely lovely and the manager of the place was just as lovely. Service was prompt and we got seated quickly! The food was delicious and well cooked! I loved the vibe of the place and the create your own type menu.Would definitely recommend and I will be sure to come back if I’m ever in ottawa again!
It has been long since I visited this location, amazing new menu with few classics options. The ring tower Is my fav as usual. I wish the turkey burger is back, but I picked elk, so juicieKids menu is best in value, with drink and ice cream includedFinally the new decorations has new modern touch … but still miss the old decoration …
The place was charming, servers were very nice ! (That's mostly all the stars tbh I loved them) But the wait for the food was a bit too long. We asked to get our drinks refilled and it took 30 minutes. They refilled them after we got the food... which isn't the point when you want to drink while waiting. Also if you're from Quebec and knows what a good poutine tastes like, you'll be disappointed with theirs unfortunately. ? Otherwise the food was moderately okay. The very surprising part was the sword of onion rings. Freaking delicious and perfectly crispy !
