Amazing food and service, and wonderful atmosphere!
Friendly service, but forgot our bread (I donât recall if we were charged for it). Our Server offered tuna rare, but it arrived overcooked, tough and not particularly flavourful. The green salad (not on the menu) and half chicken were good and our wild mushrooms tasted (just) ok, but were a pretty tame mix. When booking, I mentioned it was an anniversary and they said they would provide a note on a dessert if we ordered one. We didnât order one, but on the way out our server apologized and gave us a complimentary cheesecake in a to-go box. We had a lovely time, but the food was far from the quality we had enjoyed on earlier visits and certainly not up to the quality Iâd expect at even half the price.

Top notch on every level! Everything expected from a place like this was delivered - service, food quality, attention to detail, customer appreciation, etc. A return visit is already planned along with a stay at the Westin.
Our evening at The Shore Club exceeded expectations. Our waiters, Bob and Sean were beating cordial and attentive. The food was tops and the atmosphere was calm yet energized. Highly recommend!

Now this place might be located inside of a hotel lobby but don’t get that confused with the quality that it presents it’s patrons. The short rib is probably one of the best pieces on the menu. I love the service that you get here, I love the options on the menu, I love the quality of the food that you get to eat. This is probably one of Ottawa‘s best kept secrets. It might be busy constantly but I don’t think a lot of people living in the city visit this on a frequent basis like some of their other favorite restaurants. I would guess that most of the people eating here are simply guests of the hotel. So if you live in Ottawa and haven’t been here I suggest giving it a try! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
