Great place to spend your evening with unique food and drinks menu.The food menu doesn’t contain too many options however the ones available are delicious. They don’t have any chicken dishes though.They have some fun cocktails and good collection of wines.Do make sure to have a reservation as it’s usually booked on Friday and Saturday evenings.Shoutout to GM Tory and AGM Gabby for their excellent service and for maintaining a friendly atmosphere inside.
I had the braised lamb tostada, it was just amazing. Reasonably priced too.The staff was very welcoming, the place was full (not surprising).I went there on a whim, I will definitely have to go back to try the rest of the menu.
My wife and I's dinner at the Rowan was a fantastic mid week experience. We hadn't been to the restaurant in about 2.5 years, and on a whim, I thought - let's eat in the Glebe. We started with the roasted cauliflower and the cripsy tofu and mushrooms and saboy cabbage. Both were perfectly prepared and delicious. She had the pesto/sausage/broccoli mafaldine and I had the trout. Again - both excellent. We finished with the rhubarb donuts and the chocolate tarte - which put a big bow on the whole meal and experience. The awesome, better, even better heightening of each dish they brought to us made the evening really enjoyable. Their plating and presentation is also beautiful. In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in the Glebe hands down, and in the top 5 spots in Ottawa.
This place is so adorable and the food is so good! As a celiac I am always so limited but they had a good amount of options for me plus they had cute drinks as well! The bites aren’t overwhelmingly large which means you can get a few plates and share!! A definite must eat!
Randomly found this place and is one of the best restaurants in town. Amazingly delicious dishes, very friendly staff and great atmosphere! Will definitely come back!
Absolutely delicious - thank you Tori for making the celebratory dinner for my fiance and our friend unforgettable! She brought out some sparking wine as well as desserts with a candle on it to top the night off. The table loved the surprise, we will definitely be back!
We had a really nice dinner here. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was nice and chill. There were a couple vegetarian options and we ended up getting the tofu and the fritters. I’m not a huge lentil fan so the tofu was my fave. We also got the chocolate dessert which was really nice!
Found this gem by chance and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Great food and drink (some of the very best I've experienced) lovely service and a warm, comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Every time I come here, the staff is always to the top friendly and happy to serve their guest. I'm writing this review because it's very uncommon to find a restaurant that sees customer service as a high priority. But also they make you feel very welcomed!
Great food. Fried the Grilled Cauliflower, Pork Belly, and Steak. The doughnuts were also amazing!
