You can feel the Canadian vibes, the ambiance, the large meals, the sports channels playing hockey and baseball.It was an enjoyable experience, the portions were big and tasty.We went there around 3 in the afternoon but I think it's a different experience at night, I feel like the place gets packed specially when there's a live game.
Had an awesome experience there. Was staying in little Italy and Italia was closed so I ran into some folks who recommended this place.The manager/bartender recommended a meatball sandwich. I would NEVER eat a meatball sandwich under normal conditions.But I will try anything once.It was AMAZING.I would recommend this place and the Manager Jenn to anyone.
They have raised their prices recently after the reopening of indoor dining in Ontario in February. The food is decent. I had the meatball melt which is lasagna noodles with meat balls and cheese in it. The portion isn't huge so if you are hungry then order an appetizer.
Honestly one of the worst meals I've had in a long time. The service was great. The prices are a bit extreme 30.95$ for chicken parm. I had a smoked meat sandwhich it was not great. I think it was microwave the bottom of the bread was soggy and the top of the bread was not.
Amazing pizza as always. Ordered the dewy.. Very tasty , amazing crust and so many delicious toppings. Highly recommend
Not a bad place, meant as a good casual spot to hang out and chill with good friends. The food sizes are GOOD, but the tastes is meh. Other then that, its a good beer hang out joint. Highly recommend if you ever drop by to Little Italy to have good talks with old friends.
This Ottawa institution never disappoints !! A skate on the Rideau canal on a Sunny Sunday.... a short walk from Dows Lake for a super frosty quart and a meatball sandwich (don't miss this culinary gem)! It doesn't get any better!!!Excellent service also!!!

The place you go back for memories. If this is you're first time you will be back. With friends or with your kids, you will have a story to share about the place. Built in days where the cheaper building materials have become what makes you think of the good old days. I'm just fond on the flooring. The way they were built compared to now brings me a feeling of things were nice in those days. Details were important. Oh yeah the food... Well after so many years of perfecting their recipes and not changing them... You're garanteed great pizza amazing sandwiches and awesome staff.
