I love this place. I have tried burger nachos and ... the food is reasonably good.Very polite staff.I like their sour bear its called Jelly king ?.But be careful I found this place a bit mismanaged for reservations when you want to have Birthday gatherings or .... for example they accepted to do the decoration but they didn't had helium gas for balloons and they reversed wrong table for us. But overally, I give this place 5 stars. And it's my first choice for weekend.

The pictures posted online of this place do not do it justice. You need to ear in the restaurant for the full experience. The service was amazing! We were 4 adults and 1 children. I wish I remembered our servers name. She was fantastic with everyone and very attentive. The food was great and the decor had us awestruck!

Poor service and mediocre food. Won’t be coming back. Food was cool when we got it, no one likes cold eggs for brunch. Took long time to get service.

Cold meal and crappy service. With so many great places near by, we would advise going elsewhere. Looks nice tho - that's about it.

Great brunch place. Large portions for the price and good quality food.

The Salmon Meal exceeded expectations! Highly recommend! Our server also took extra steps to get us dessert after the kitchen closed! My best culinary experience in Ottawa/Outouais in the past 5 years! The food was made to perfection! Thank you to the Chef and Sous Chef's of the evening!

I enjoyed my time at this restaurant. It was wheelchair accessible and the staff were great with making it easy to get around and to a good table. The food was great! And I really enjoyed the spicy soup that I had at the start of my meal. It was affordable with a good range of food prices to be able to eat a good meal and not break the bank. I would recommend this restaurant for a meal or a night out with friends or even by yourself for a drink and a snack.

Our go-to spot for a sold brunch at a reasonable price. Really appreciate the selection of sides and ability to add items for cheap. The outdoor patio +TV setup is great for watching sports and the interior has a very unique, old-school vibe.

Easily one of my favorite bars, its always pretty packed. Unfortunetly it looks like with most clubs closed, the age group has dropped significantly. It used to be that transition place for people out of the market club scene, who still liked to dance and have fun.

My boyfriend and I were planning to enjoy dinner and a drink after a long and particularly stressful day. We were happy to sit down in the cozy pub and shared a few laughs while reviewing the menu. We asked for water as we considered what to order. The exchange was short and pleasant. When our server came back to take our order, I asked if she had any beer recommendations. We were shocked at her reply: "I don't feel comfortable serving you any drinks. ... We observed some things ... It looks like you've been out somewhere else." She implied that we were intoxicated - a shocking statement, given that we were completely sober and simply pleased to be there. We asked to speak to a supervisor, who left us waiting for quite some time and quickly became dismissive and unwilling to acknowledge that a mistake had been made and that her customers had been insulted. We've never been treated so rudely anywhere else in Ottawa. In short, we are baffled by the fact that a business would be so willing to lose customers permanently in such a way, and we encourage anyone reading this review to choose alternatives for a dinner/night out: The Royal Oak, Elgin Street Diner (just across the street!), Banditos, Datsun, El Camino, The Manx (great brunch as well), Riviera. All these places could teach the Lieutenant's Pump a thing or two about hospitality.
