Great ribeye! Atmosphere is modern and employees are super friendly. Full bar, large selection of wine. Overall a great meal.
Best Meal i’ve had in a long time, by a long shot. Had a freshly made bread & french onion soup followed by Beef & Seafood with vegetables and mushroom rice, with a nice wine of course. Finished the experience with a mini creme brulé, wishing I picked the regular sized one. Everything tasted amazing & fresh. Service was great as well and provided great suggestions! Thanks!
Standard has dropped messed up my order last 2 times I was there 1st time the steak was overcooked and dry...didn't want a replacement but they insisted...brought an overdone steak a second time 2nd time they mixed up our orders and did the steaks wrong again it was way to dry and had to say something they took the steaks back to cook my wife's steak a little more because it was medium rare and she ordered medium well and to replace mine when it came back they brought the wrong steak...a peppercorn steak...not what I ordered...one bite and I lost my appetite It was 2 very disappointing experiences and have decided to give this restaurant a few months rest...hopefully the chef / manager will be changed by then
Visit this restaurant monthly. We sat on the patio. Enjoyed our apps and meals, everything was top notch as always. Our waitress Chelsea provided an excellent service.
Disappointed with my last 2 visits. You used to be my go to in the market but not anymore. Vodka espresso martini was flat. Not frothy enough. The steaks were bland and tough and not cooked to perfection like before. The reason we go is for consistency. Lose that and you will lose the ball game. The best part was the wedge blue cheese salad.
First time to the Keg, visited the one in Ottawa while on vacation and it was absolutely amazing. Our waitress was super friendly, the food was delicious, the drinks were very well made & they offer in door or terrace for dining. Definitely will be coming back in the future!
Went for a grad dinner party and the experience was fantastic! Had to wait a few minutes for our reserved table but that was no problem. Once seated we were greeted promptly by our server (Phil). He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Definitely made the experience even better. Excellent wine service, very yummy appetizers (we had the baked brie), and entree was cooked perfectly (ordered top sirloin). Everything was very flavourful. Great experience, we will definitely be back!
When we are visiting Ottawa from Australia, The Keg is ALWAYS on our list of restaurants to visit…. Their Prime Rib has never disappointed us!! Absolutely incredible. The service is outstanding as well. Last night we were looked after by Chris on his second shift at the restaurant and you wouldn’t have known! He was great! Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and intuitive. Great good, lovely staff, see you again!
Awsome place. We went for a family birthday. Service was great. Food was just as awsome. Staff very friendly. Highly recommend going there. You can dine inside or out on the patio
