Amazing food, which tasted just like any other The Keg Steakhouse restaurant. Amazing back patio. But the setting and atmosphere was unbeatable! An old historic 1800’s house with fire places, beautiful moldings and old shutters. Service reliable and professional as always at The Keg. The only small drawback was the parking outside which is not really well maintain during rain, huge puddle of water making your feet wet before coming in. Otherwise, everything was great!

We had reservations and arrived 5 minutes prior to our time. We were then asked to wait outside as our table was not ready and due to Covid protocol to socially distance as foyer was busy with other guests. No worries. After 15 minutes we came in to foyer as it was cold outside, and after a bit longer wait we were placed in a VERY small room that was overcrowded and uncomfortable. No distancing from other tables/chairs(person behind my chair was touching mine) and had to yell at the waiter for him to hear our order, which he struggled to get right as he too couldn't hear. It was overwhelming and uncomfortable and made for an unpleasant experience. We felt terrible for our poor waiter who did his absolute best.If we had wanted a bar experience, we would have planned for one. This was not a fine dining experience and wouldn't recommend the location we were at unfortunately.

I've been to this keg and other kegs many times. The filet was delicious. The carrots were undercooked and broccoli was soggy and overcooked. Pototaos were great. The mixed green salad was really tasty. Still unsure why a steakhouse would ever wrap the best cut (filet) with bacon... luckily you can ask for the cut without it ever touching the bacon. (As seen below)

It is the nicest Keg in Ottawa as I have eaten at all four legs in Ottawa. It is in an old house that is leased from the NCC. It isn't inexpensive but that is the reality of eating out in 2022. I had the rib steak with twice baked potatoes and vegetables broccoli and mushrooms. I also ordered the wedge salad an appetizer. Every thing was very tasty and I would say that it is consistent with similar meals at other Keg locations

We were celebrating our daughter’s admission to her graduate studies and the service was excellent-best Keg experience ever and the food was delicious-best Keg food ever. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

This must be one of the coolest locations in this old Manor. Service was great, food was great.Seasonal veg was pretty tough to eat as it was undercooked but everything else was perfect so still 5 stars

This is a different keg experience. If you love the classic Keg atmosphere, this location isn’t for you.We found it fancy, maybe a bit fancier than a regular Keg, but a little cold - there was no art on the walls in the room we were in - which obviously is not a big deal, but it made the room feel weird.Service was really good. The seasonal vegetables sucked lol

Our server Adam AKA Patrick AKA Christopher. Had a party oh eight. He was exceptional. Food was perfect. Even had fuzzy eaters. Cannot say enough of our gathering

First of all I must say that the Keg Manor is our favourite Keg and is our place of choice for special occasions. We were celebrating both our son's and his wife's birthdays (2 days apart) and the night was perfect. We all could choose our favourites, we were thoughtfully placed near the fireplace and our server was attentive and so pleasant. A perfect evening.

The choice of the menu and the preparation of what one has ordered is well done and presented on the plate. Excellent choice of wines and desserts , coffee, tea . the atmosphere in a 18 th century house is perfect and relaxing. The personnel are very professional and curtious .
