Very welcoming staff. The food was tasty and prompt. Our server was helpfull and had the right balance of not being obtrusive while still checking in to see how dinner was going. We brought my 7 year old son and he also enjoyed the visit. Overall a nice experience for the family.On a side note if you happen to be going the wrong way down hazeldean (east bound) you can hang a left on Huntmar, go around the round about and pull into the parking lot on the way back towards Hazeldean.
What an absolute treat of an evening at the Keg. This was our first visit to this location in Kanata and it will not be our last. The restaurant is beautiful, the service was incredible. The hostess held open the main door as we entered, and we were taken directly to our pre-reserved table. We were looked after perfectly, and our service was excellent. Fresh bread, drinks, and main courses were excellent. Our server stopped by after the first few bites to confirm we were happy. Other restaurants take notes.. that is the proper way to impress a customer. It was my 50th birthday, and I could not have asked for a more perfect evening. The next day we got an email from the manager thanking us for choosing the Keg! What a fantastic experience. Please do yourself a favour and make this Keg restaurant a priority. You will not be disappointed. We weren't. Thank you Keg.
Two couples celebrating milestone anniversaries.The really, really good:- server Gabby and all other staff were excellent! Polite, engaging, attentive and efficient. 5-stars- our meals were all cooked to perfection although one described as having two lobster tails was delivered with only one. Gabby quickly corrected that kitchen omission. 4 1/2-stars- complimentary Billy Miner Pie for dessert. 5-starsCould have been better:- we're all music lovers but the streaming soundtrack was overloaded with techno/electronic music better suited to a hipster bar than an upscale restaurant with diverse clientele. Mildly annoying but we'll still come back.
Hostess Georgia and server Vanessa were both polite and friendly. I don't think that staff get enough weight during a review, as they set the tone, pace and should embrace the atmosphere. Vanessa praised my wine selection and had great table side etiquette.The food was amazing! (as is usually the case). I have kept track of this chef from Ottawa's downtown location. Fantastic kitchen here as well! Quality is key to repeat business. Enjoy my pics!
Had a great dinner here with my wife. Service was attentive and food was prepared quickly and was delicious. First time at this location, lovely interior and food is what you would expect from a Keg.
We had a really good time in this restaurant. The food was delicious, but Laura made our night. She really was amazing !!!!! ? We are from Quebec and our english isn't perfect, we were trying, but she was really understanding and helpful! ❤️ Funny, polite and so attentive to our needs. She definitely helps to make our experience in Ottawa better!
My husband and I really enjoyed our time at the Keg! First time there in a really long time and believe me, it won't be the last either. Our server was really really nice, chatting away while taking our orders. SERVICE AND FOOD WERE GREAT! Thank you for making our time so enjoyable!!
Oh my gosh. Incredible doesn’t even cut it. The food, the wine, the service. It was a great evening out and money well spent. Our server Laura G, whom we became well acquainted with after her wine suggestion of Woodbridge, a sweet and bold pairing for our meals. We chatted with her throughout the night and shared some laughs. Her hospitality and kindness was above and beyond and a much needed reminder of service supremacy and why I have enjoyed dining at the keg so much.
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful dinner here for an early Valentine’s Day celebration. Our server Laura was absolutely amazing, she made our dining experience fabulous! She was very attentive, professional and very kind! We will definitely be back!
Our favourite restaurant in Ottawa & has been since it opened. Glad to have it back open again. Really enjoyed our 52nd anniversary dinner there.
