Its extremely expensive here. You can’t enjoy an app without adding another $20+ to your bill. Some of the mains don’t come with sides and are small in size and the specials have detailed stipulations to be allowed.
Nice venue and raised area for music makes for a good evening. Local music - good variety of beer. Food was good by all accounts. Bar service is friendly.
I paid 20 bucks for some wings that were like leather. Very dry.I got 8 wings plus a small basket of fries, the fries were very good.I won't return.
We visited this past Sunday and it was great. We had 3 kids with us and we received a private booth, the service was great (Thank you Brendan) and the food was delicious. We learned at the end that Kids Eat Free on Sundays so that was a nice bonus. :)
Went in for a couple drinks and sat at the bar for ten minutes while the server was enjoying a conversation with THE ONLY other customer at the bar. Finished my first drink and waited another good amount of time while she was chatting away before I could order again. I just took my bill instead and left. Won't go back. Atrocious service.
Well it used to be good. This time we sat forever, nobody came to take our order, so we left.
Lost my Wallet on St Pattys night. Only had ONE beer . Realized it next morning. All staff were great to look and take information John was the hero ....Found it and ........delivered it to our home. He and Barley Mow .... awesome. Just awesome. .. Been there many times and always great service and food.
We decided to try a different location of the Barley… Friday March 4,2022 around noon we arrived.. a very pleasant but busy server..I ordered Friday fish and chips special. Meal was delivered by a male, possibly manager,, I checked for food temperature,,, and to my surprise fries were not even warm,, I then noticed that the generally included tartar was missing,,I tried to make eye contact with server but unable to..I noticed male putting up shamrocks,, I went over to mention my concerns,he left and putdown on table new order fries and tartar sauce,, he never spoke,,, We piad our bill by gift card. As we were leaving same male was walking towards us,,once again he never spoke,,.I submitted my concern online to Barley Mow as of 5 business days I have heard nothing…
I had dinner here with my mother who has a nut and shellfish allergy. Her order had almonds on it and she asked that they make the food without the almonds. No problem!The next thing we know a very friendly and apologetic manager turns up at our table. He explained that they do all the prep ahead of time (like most restaurants) and that he couldn't guarantee her food had never seen an almond.He stayed at our table and workshopped a meal for my mum so that she could eat! What a great place! 1 star off for not having better food control in the first place, but 4 star service.
Went to 10¢ wing night and was informed when I called that as long as I purchase a drink, then the wings are 10¢ each. However when I got there, the waitress said you can only order 8 wings per drink. This was not told to me when I called and nowhere on the website did it say only 8 wings per drink. What kind of false advertising is that!!
