This was my first visit to Talay Thai. I went for lunch which is an amazing deal. Every day of the week they have a different lunch special which is very very cool. What I liked is that it’s not just one dish they give you but a small variety of a few different dishes. For $20 you can’t beat that! Another plus was that the food was in front of us within 10 minutes of ordering. Five stars all the way
The Pad Thai was ridiculously sweet (like dessert sweet) and had almost no veggies. Soups were fantastic. Curries were pretty good but basic.Nice ambience and straightforward service. A little on the pricey side for the serving sizes. Automatic 15% gratuity added on parties of 5+ (and pretty sure it was added on top of the tax).
Delicious food! We got take out.-Chicken Red curry-peanut butter sauce with veggies and shrimps-mango shrimp kale saladAll were delish!
The best Birthday dinner during the pandemic was take-out at Talay Thai. Each guest got to choose, and with delivery we could enjoy time together! A plan we will repeat.
Tasty authentic Thai food, generous portions, and reasonable prices. The green curry with tofu and vegetables and sticky rice were delicious. There are many vegetarian and vegan-friendly options on the menu.
Small quaint restaurant with amazingly great food and service. A little tight for parking but worth it if you can get in. Wasnt sure what to expect and we werent disappointed. We will return here on our next Ottawa trip.
It was a great experience. The restaurant was clean and staff were friendly. Portions are so generous and can be eaten for two meals.

The Thai food was average and slightly overpriced. Curry dishes were very good. Pad thai was overly goopy and not great. It's in a sketchy neighbourhood so not sure I'd make an effort to get there based on the food.
Was in a rush for lunch and ordered from here since it was on my way. Very good food and great prices. Ordered 3 star spicy and thought it was perfect. Usually medium at these places is still burning hot for me. Very good consistency. When I walked in to pickup my order someone immediately greeted me. Great food, service, and fast!
