Received a pack of 6 cupcakes as a birthday present. I can’t say I was impressed. I don’t know if they were or not, but the cupcakes seemed to be old. Certainly not made the same day as the icing, of which, there is far too much was hard on the exterior.” giving the impression they had been sitting there for quite some time. Secondly they were dropped off at the door without anyone ringing the doorbell tied up in a green plastic grocery bag!
We had preordered and prepaid $70.00 for a cake. Two days before, because of COVID in the family, we needed to postpone the event, and called to ask if they could postpone the cake to a later date. The cake had not been made yet, but they said no. We then asked if we could pick it up a day early and the answer was no again. We are a regular customer but will not go back again. What we have been told is we are out $70 for something that they have not prepared. Customer service sucks, and the person on the phone was not flexible at all. Beware of this business, and don’t prepay for anything. We won’t be back.
The amount of icing on the donuts seems to have dwindled to less than half of what it was two years ago. I saw a huge decrease with the first 6 pack I picked up at the beginning of the pandemic. I used to buy them every payday; now there is such a tiny amount of icing on them I don't bother anymore. There are other goodies, but donuts are what I love.Strawberry Blonde was my GF LF go to for goodies :(
A gluten free, vegan, nut free, AND kosher bakery?!? I'm so happy bakeries like these are starting to come into existence and flourishing. There were too many options, I didn't even know where to begin. Donuts, cinnamon buns, cookies, bagels, bread, brownies, cake pops, you name it! Everything tastes amazing so you really can't go wrong. No dine in option, but definitely worth a visit.
Absolutely delicious! My boyfriend got me cupcakes for my birthday without knowing that they were vegan, gluten free etc. and they blew us away. Excellent flavour and home made texture. The chocolate cupcake with chocolate icing was my favourite - hello cocoa.
YUM! I ordered the chocolate cake with cookies and cream icing for my boyfriend's birthday and it did not disappoint! I'm lucky to not have any food sensitivities but I wanted to get him something he could indulge in without having to suffer or take pills. We've picked up some packaged products from FarmBoy before but we will definitely be ordering directly from here again and again, it is well worth the trip!
Great bakery. Delicious treats and a great selection of products. Their lemon squares are delightful.
I am not vegan but I was familiar with the brand from farm boy. I stopped by the other day and bought some treats. I guess everybody agrees this place is great and I agree. Let me contribute in another way. I was sleepy when I was there and got coffee with no prior expectations. So I was surprised when I was handed my best ever coffee purchase..So if you haven't, try their coffee too.
I actually can’t believe how excellent literally all the treats we selected were. (Cake pops vanilla, red velvet, chocolate, brownie, cheesecake, and best of all the donuts. Amazing quality definitely will be recommending
