Super great exciting place! I'm glad we were able to have samples/taste! Went here with my mother and her friend and it was amazing! Definitely try the Ferrero Roche ice cream! Taste EXACTLY like it!Workers were super friendly and overall, a great place for gelato ?

When I saw the owner on television a few months ago and heard about the great gelato, I knew I had to try one of the locations the next time in the Ottawa area. I made a short trek to Merrickville on a gorgeous day, my first time there. Had a panini for lunch, followed by gelato, of course. The location is perfect, in an old building, right along the canal. I even bought another panini to take away for dinner and plan to visit another of their locations on my way out of town. I had fun chats with staff and other customers too while there. It would certainly be a favorite of mine if I lived in the area.
The soup and sandwich was okay, but expensive, just under $16. The desserts look awesome, but didn't have room to try any of them.The gelato is what they are known for, but in my opinion unreasonably expensive. I have had the gelato before, and it is definitely delicious. The price is what is scary. The small size is a whopping $7.90 before tax, and the prices of course increase for larger sizes. No cheap outing even if you are only going to buy gelato. Definitely not a place you would take your whole family for a treat or you will go broke! You can decide if paying $10 per person for gelato is worth it.
I always found the ice cream good, if outlandishly overpriced. But finding out that some of those fat profits were used to fund the trucker occupation of our city ensured I'll never set foot there again.
An absolutely wonderful place with amazing atmosphere and decor! Such amazing selection of teas and items to buy as you walk in. An amazing selection of sandwiches and baked goods. Lots of gelato flavor options to choose from. They have lots of vegan options as well! When I walked in I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and I felt like I was a member of their family walking into my their home at Christmas! The staff there was so friendly and helpful, in particularly Zack. He was very kind and informative and knowledgeable and super patient with my young son who had a hard time making up his mind. I absolutely can't wait to go back there again! Their prices are reasonable I would have paid twice as much for the delicious gelato I had, it would have been worth it! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone no matter the time of year or day of the week just go! Next time I go back I'll take some pictures but my gelato did not last long enough to take pictures because it was simply too delicious! I got the vegan chocolate sorbet and I do not like chocolate at all and it was my absolute favourite flavor! Which will just tell you how delicious it actually is! Wonderful experience with my 9 and 10 year old going the first time, staff patient and friendly with them. We had Gelato and Sorbet waffle cones and they were delicious! They made sure we had seats for dine in and definitely recommend for a nice family visit and treat, a little more expensive but worth it
