Quite expensive but excellent gelato perfect for hot day. Also very good waffles and coffee. Seating in and out, can be busy.
We visited Italy in 2019 and honestly the gelato at Stella Luna is better. Decadent! It isn't inexpensive but it is a delicious treat.
Quaint little dessert place in Hintonburg. Delicious menu that changes every day. My favourite is their ice cream. Many flavours to choose from. Plenty of patio seatings outdoor for all to enjoy. A nice place to hangout with friends.
Donated twice to the occupation of Ottawa, went on Fox News to complain about the backlash and is anti-abortion. Trash and overpriced gelato. Lots of other better Ottawa places that aren’t living in the 1920s where you can get some decent ice cream
We were a group of 4 people, and all four of us ate something different. Without exception, each dish brought raved: "Oh, oh, this is so delicious", from soup to main course to desserts. All gelatos were raved about, and I had the mocha tort, which was superb. I've never tasted anything like it.
Ottawa is not my favourite city but Stella Luna is a gem if you have to go there. they had Nice people working that made us feel welcome; it had a homemade feeling and I got the feeling they cared about their patrons - The hazelnut gelato is fantastic. My little one just went for plan chocolate but it was smooth and delicious.
I am surprised I have not discovered this place sooner! I ordered the a cookies and cream, and a maple walnut combination. My wife ordered the fuzzy peach, and raspberry it really tasted like fuzzy peach candy!The service was fantastic, and although it was busy, the staff was very upbeat and friendly. This is our new gelato spot!
Stella Luna is one of the best gelato places in Ottawa. There’s always a line out the door and everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful. Most variety in flavours and worth the stop every time!
