Love it! The ingredients were fresh, and the soup was delicious! I chose the sour and spicy broth which really whetted the appetite and had a nice kick without being too spicy.All the ingredients are priced equally at $3.10/100g (minimum order of 400g). I took quite a lot which amounted to ~$32 (inclusive of taxes and one bottled tea).

So glad I found this place. You pick your own ingredients and your soup base based on your own preference. My soup ended up being really delicious and filling! I recommend trying this place out.
Good Malatang but the price is way too over. $3.59 for 5 pieces of tiny & thin lamb rolls is not a good look. The duck blood cake is also tiny like it was cut in half.

As someone whos been ordering from this place just cuz its almost just an authentic individual hotpot - minus all the prep I may have to do on myself, I was so excited to find out this afternoon that they now carry a full, ready to roll hotpot for two.The soup base has a herbal, rich flavor that really soaks into everything they provide you to go with it, you can easily taste how fresh the chicken and the beef is. The rest, I will let the pictures speaks for themselves.Highly recommend for whoever is a hardcore hotpot lover (yeah, me) or simply down for an experience!
Malatang is a style of Chinese street food. You pick the ingredients and soup flavour, and server will prepare the “strew” in the kitchen. You pay by the weight of ingredients chosen. Store environment is neat and welcoming, service is friendly. Excellent choice for winter quick bite! The spicy soup is highly recommended.
Well organised and very clean new restaurant with a very interesting concept. You take a bowl and a pair of tongues and select the ingredients like meat, seafood, vegetables, noodles etc. for your soup. The minimum weight of your selected products needs to be at least 400 grams. Then you select the flavor of your broth, give your bowl to the staff and they bring it back to your table in 5 minutes.The four of us really enjoyed our meals and will be back many times!
Great value, price is similar to other malatang restaurants in Toronto.We ordered (takeout) the basic spicy soup and the golden spicy/sour soup; both were incredibly tasty, although the basic spicy soup was not spicy at all.The ingredients were very fresh and tasty.The store itself was super clean and pretty as well.
