Great food, tasty, well presented, as promised, fast and easy order and pick up. Location requires a bit of a walk from downtown but it was worth. Will come back again.

I have never had such delicious sushi’s in my entire life. This is super expensive sushi place, it’s so expensive that it’s not something I can go and have in once a week, but for sure I would love to. Generally I like to use soya sources and wasabi with sushi, but for this sushi I wanted to feel the original taste, it feels to heavenly.

It's my first time to order sushi from Shinka Sushi Bar. Honestly, I think it's one of the best sushi restaurant in Ottawa. I ordered Omakase 150 for the first time, the quality is very good, but staff made a mistake and some sushi pieces were missing. Emilie and Lina replied my email regarding this issue, and offered me complimentary items for my second order. Big thumbs-up for the Shinka Sushi Bar staff, keep up offering the great customer experience.
FAKE. RIPOFF. The worst sushi in Canada. I've been eating sushi for 20 years now from Korea, Japan and Canada. This place is overpriced as hell and their flavor and freshness are below zero. The attached photo is their 'ebi sashimi' which is COOKED butterfly shrimp at freaking $9.5!!! What a joke! Sashimi can't be 'cooked' something ??? I strongly believe that THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what sushi is! The rice was inedible and dry and hard to chew!This is what i got from our $164 order. Avoid by all means. Better go to Ottawa delivery sushi. Their neta is much bigger, FRESHIER and their shari is much better at the half of this ridiculous price! I swear this place should be closed. This can't be a Japanese restaurant.
Best sushis ever! The quality is impressive. We discovered Shinka during the pandemic and only ordered for take out. I can't wait to eat at their location. Delicious, highly recommend :)
Shinkansen is not bad, but not authentic neither.
The most delicious and beautiful sushi you can find by far. The chefs are exceptionally good at what they do. The food is creative, the fish is always fresh, and the cuts are generous. These are Omakases, if you like surprises, they won't let you down. You'll discover new flavours you can't find anywhere else. Their Japanese Gyozas are really good too. If you're used to AYCE sushi, you've been cheated.
