Their garlic sauce is one of the best I've had from all the shawarma places. With the platter you get 2 naan, which is good enough for 2 people. Good thing, it's open until late. If you're hungry and if you are looking for tasty food, shawarma palace is your savior.
Without a doubt best shawarma I’ve ever had. Huge plates and great taste. The quality is incomparable to other places in Ottawa and any else in Ontario. The beef tongue is my favourite personally but the chicken shawarma poutine and the plates are amazing. Great service and quick. Lots of seating and good parking. It’s clean and my go to whenever I’m in town.
We went to this restaurant after checking google ratings but it is not worth.It is quite expensive Spent 50$ for 2 person. Chicken plate and vegetarian dish.They overcrowded plate with Veggies garlic sauce turnip and pickles so it looks big.Chicken was dried and too oily. It looks like they use peanut oil. Potatoes and chicken was dry and seemed like just dipped into oil very unhealthy.Need to improve quality
I highly recommend this place for people without dietary restrictions.However I'm celiac and after calling the restaurant and even writing down that I am celiac and cannot have any rice(their head office said there's gluten in it), there was rice in my potatoes. Im now having an immune response and sadly cannot order here again. If you're allergic, have any preferences, or have any disorders, it's probably a good idea to order elsewhere.1/5 for me5/5 for anyone else
After many years and several visits, this is still the best shawarma in Ottawa, and probably the entire province.Don't bother with the wraps, this is the place you go to for platters. It doesn't matter if you want chicken, or beef or both, you will be blown away by the platter. Whether you dine-in or take-out, the platter comes absolutely loaded with meat, potatoes, rice, salad, hummus, and garlic sauce. The taste is out of this world, with the garlic sauce being the standout of the platter. The beef is also solid, which tends to be a weakness of many shawarma places. The platter will last you two meals at minimum, and probably three.This place is reason enough to make the drive to Ottawa, wherever you're coming from. If you go during lunchtime, expect a long line, but if you go at non-peak times, you should be good to go.Check out @foodpharaoh on Instagram for more food!
I gave this restaurant 5 stars three years ago. Last night I gave it 3 stars. Their flavour is still good but the size of the shawarma sandwich was so small it was insulting. It was like eating a small hot dog. When we were done, we were still very hungry. Cut backs or cost saving? Not sure.

Oui vraiment je recommande cet excellent endroit la rue Rideau à Ottawa. Humhumhum miammiammiam un très excellent choix de resto et de nourriture et la gang est très sympathique. Précision! Pour la nourriture je peux vous dire que j'en ai pour mon argent. Ils sont très très généreux concernant la quantité de nourriture que j'achète. Merçi pour tout. Big and clean store(maybe because there's no dine-in?!)Huge portion.I love their potatoes and sour cream.Will definitely go there again!Btw I'm a garlic lover. My roommate who hates garlic didn't like their food.

Really big portions of authentic and tasty Lebanese food. The Chicken Shawarma platter is a complete meal with super juicy chicken, salad, rice, salad and dressings of your choice. The restaurant staff is very accommodating and generous if you need anything extra. It truly is one of the pioneers of Shawarma in Ottawa and a must visit food option in the city for residents and travelers alike.
