I like to go to Shawarma Mango's mainly for their fruit cocktails and their mango surprise drink. They use fresh fruit and mix your drink infront of you in a blender. I think the food is also good, in flavor, price and serving portions. The staff are friendly and provide great service. The interior and their booths of the restaurant are dated. However the restaurant is clean. This is a good place to bring family for a fair priced good tasting meal. Chicken fillet burger combo was on point. Chicken was crispy and juicy and the fries were extra crisp (they also include a salad). For such a cheap price you can’t go wrong 10/10
The best shawarma in Ottawa. I’ve tried it several times then I was addicted to it at some point. Idk what they put it, it’s sooooo good. The samosas are really nice too, just too much oil but other than that everything is perfect. I would even give it 10 stars if I could
I went here for lunch and got a shawarma as I really wanted to support a small business. Unfortunately the veggies were all old and beginning to go bad. The store is not well kept either. I also got a fried kebbe and it tasted really old.I was so I dissapointed and left the shop grossed out.
Excellent place, good prices and service
It’s unfortunate that this place was highly recommended. The gentleman who prepared my platter and fruit cocktail served another person ahead of me and cashed them out and returned to make my order wearing the same gloves. Another staff member had no mask while prepping food outside.I obliged since he would be using utensils to pick up the food, however, when I asked for hot peppers at the end he used his gloved hands, he then went over to the fruit bar, chopped up a banana and picked up the fruit with the same gloved hands, then cashed me out and was back to serving with the same gloves. As for the food, in all honesty, I was unable to differentiate between the cubes of potatoes or chicken pieces, I may have gotten the end of day chicken skewer, they came off as dried chunks, I tried a fork of chicken and it was quite dry. The chicken portion was a handful at most and the cost was $14.99 before taxes. The food went to waste.Many thanks.
Do go there and enjoy the food, recommended that to my brother/friends. But unfortunately when he went there today December 06, it was mentioned that the employee served a guy before him removed his gloves and put back on the gloves n served him. Unacceptable my brother was shocked and another person walked in without a mask, seriously. And worst the chicken was very dr,it mite be end of the day but come on.
This is my absolute favorite place when I have a big appetite. The portions are more than enough to fill you, but the food is delicious enough to keep eating til it's gone. Don't make any plans after ordering because you're going to be FULL UP!! You'll know you're in the right spot as soon as you open the door, the smell is mouthwatering
Been going here since 1999 and still do for their garlic potatoes . Their sandwiches are about average for the city but they offer a good variety of items to suit your palette . One of this places main attractions is their fruit cocktails, they're refreshing and healthy. Try the 'Mango surprise' for a great tasting treat ! . (Does contain nuts though...sorry, no-nutters)
We went there three times. They are good, Swharma and Fried chicken are delicious. We loved their potato and ordered it twice with garlic sauce dip. Staff is fast and friendly.
