Our first visit. Did a chicken shawarma platter takeout for 4 people. Also ordered small veg portion aswell.I found chicken little dry. Rice was different in taste if I compare it with Shawarma Palace on Carling Ave. They did not give much potatoes.
It's not bad here. Good prices for fresh food. They don't have many options for salad. And didn't want to add tahini sauce in the chicken wrap. But for 1am, I guess I can't complain.
This place sales the worst Shomosa. I bought Shomosas, which were rotten inside. Slimy (due to microbial growth inside) and bitter in taste. I got belly-eche immediately after eating the Shomosas. Most probably, those were 3/4 days old. There was no taste of the food at all. The most bad customer service I received when visited back to them and told them the fact. One of their employees told me to leave the place (he said, 'get out, go to hospital!'). No one ever expect such kind of behavior to the customer from a reputed restaurant on Bank Street, Ottawa.
I'd argue that no one could beat their ingredient quality, recipe taste, assembly speed, price, portion size or the friendly service that these guys achieve and consistently give out every day. It's all beyond excellent. Thanks!
I usually get the mixed shawarma platter and some extra hummus. Always delicious! So much food for the price, too! Been ordering here 2-3 times a month for a while and am never disappointed. Cheers!
An Ottawa institution, been a tradition that when we are in Ottawa, a must stop. Just a few blocks south of the office buildings and parliament hill. The platters are huge and of good value but for a snack, the wraps are mighty filling. Unique from other Shawarma places in that you have choices: small, large and XL.
The food and service was amazing!! It was the first time trying it out for me. I was in town and after a long day of being in the trenches, I needed some energy to get me back up. That’s when I stumbled in the trajectory of this fine establishment. The worker was extremely polite and helped me decide what was best. The food was hot and fresh. I would absolutely go again. And again for that matter. But no the food is absolutely amazing.
I purchased a shawarma from Shawarma King, it was very good. They put nice size positions of meat and vegetables. I would definitely purchase from them again. Excellent customer service. May God Bless you. Cheers. ??????❤?

We ordered 5 veg falafel. Taste was okay, service was great. If you are international and like more spices & sauces in your rap this place is NOT for you.
