Well what can I say, I’m so impressed by this restaurant.We went to Ottawa to visit a friend and we ended up going here for lunch because a place we wanted to go was still closed, what a stroke of goodness!From sitting us down, to bringing us water, soup, salad, and our entrees, I am throughly satisfied.We ordered, chicken shami, mixed shami, chicken tandoori, chicken drumstick, and lamb choppan! We all loved our meals. The lentil soup was amazing and the salad well balanced.All our meals came out on time and together, hit and sizzling. I was very happy with the service and will hope to return when we visit Ottawa again!
I have been coming to Salang for over 5 years, and it has always been consistently delicious! Everything is always fresh, and the kebabs are juicy. The rice is to die for. This is our go-to restaurant and we never seem to get tired of it.The staff (Geet and Nouran) are friendly and go out of their way to make the experience pleasurable.
Good service, our whole family really enjoys the chicken dishes. Eggplant dish is a little oily, but still tasty. Overall, this place is a good option for a quick and satisfying take home meal.
Amazing, juicy meat with tangy sauce - I found where all the locals go! It’s very busy here with locals. The flavour profile has a lot of depth, the meat was tender too. I don’t eat middle eastern food a lot besides shawarma so this is my go to now.Family platter was very good- I did takeout and they have parking too.Eggplant korma was so good, loved the bread.Will be back for the highly acclaimed lamb dish.Very nice waitress! She was very diligent and her recommendation to get the eggplant korma was spot on! Thanks so much!
The food is phenomenal. Seriously, the quality and taste of the food is one of the best I've had and I've been to many restaurants. Big S/O to the chef, Aman, and the entire staff for the amazing experience. Will definitely come back.
The quality of food here never fails to disappoint me. I love the flavour of the meats, as well as the flavour of the rice. I can't quite describe it, but it's definitely not plain white rice. In any case, highly recommended for either lunch or dinner.
