Gf and I ordered two pizzas for takeout. We live in Little Italy so the trip home was only a few minutes. When eating them the pizzas were very cold, soggy and doughy and for some reason, there was something weirdly crunchy in the pizza, a strange sand like texture. The pizzas were also very salty which may explain the strange crunch? Try Farinella Rochester around the corner, it's honestly incredible and a much better deal.
Had the best experience today with Mindy from Roberto Pizza! She knew I was in hospital and was kind enough to send a dessert because she knew I'd be getting sick of the jello they give you here! The pizza I've waited over a year for as an out-of-towner and once again it did not disappoint. Thank you Mindy and the team at Roberto Pizza! Always my go to when I visit Ottawa ?
Roberto Pizza is the best Pizza spot in Ottawa. Incredibly friendly service, a quaint dine in area, and a menu that speaks for itself. The Calabrese is to die for! I would recommend Roberto Pizza to any pizza lover. A great spot to impress friends from out of town.
I'm confident to say their pizza is so far THE BEST PIZZA IN OTTAWA. They are fast and very kind too. We ordered by phone and picked it up in 20 minutes.
Did not disappoint :) We were very satisfied beyond our expectations. Also there was no bad after effect with digestion. It felt very clean in my tummy after with no indigestion. Highly recommend. They know what they are doing. #1. Strong flavour. Authentic. Good quality ingredients. ?
Used to be my favourite pizza in Ottawa. Went back recently and the prosciutto on my pizza was cut in chunks not thin strips like it’s supposed to be (as I’ve had it there before). It wasn’t edible - chewy and so salty the whole pizza was a waste. It was takeout and I only noticed when I opened it to eat at home. I emailed the business thinking it might have been a rookie chef mistake and they should know about it (I mean what kind of authentic Italian restaurant puts chunks of prosciutto on pizza?!). They never wrote back a word. Thankfully, there are now many better options in the city.
Loved this little place !! The staff is great and the pizza was delicious ! We also tried a kale twist on a caeser salad which was also excellent. Definitely our new pizza spot ! 10/10 kids agree too !
The mushroom pizza was really good! Definitely recommend checking them out if you're into wood fired pizzas
This is the cutest old style pizzeria in little italy, Ottawa.Their amazing home made dough is complimented with a mouth watering sauce. Topped with the freshest ingredients, their pizza selection is world class.The location is a small, beautiful, house renovated to be a trattoria with an great view. There are multiple patios for lovely street view.Their coffee and tiramisu is to die for and their staff is the best you could ask for.A great place for a first date!!! Very intimate and quaint!
Great pizza cooked in a wood fire oven. Their caesar kale salad or arugula salad make a very good pairing along with a cold beer on tap.
