This is the best place to have Indian food. Not only the environment is welcoming but so are even the people. The best part is the food, found it better than what I could get back in India.The host makes sure that you are enjoying the food and will always be approachable. He was even accommodating as we had child. Will definitely visit again whenever I come back at Ottawa.
I love this place so much for so many reasons. My boyfriend and I have been eating here for years. Wherever we live in the city, even in gatineau, we always come to eat here. We simply love it and we love the service so much. The workers are amazing and we ALWAYS tip well. Thank you for being the best restaurant in Ottawa and giving me so many happy memories ❤️ many years being a loyal customer. I have never visited any restaurant in my life as much as I come here.
We just had a wonderful meal at Roast n Curries. Naan was super soft and delicious. We got chicken biryani, butter chicken and fish curry. Meat was tender and juicy, curries were flavourful. Chai at the end was just perfect to end off the meal. Definitely recommend it. Service was awesome. No pictures of food because it was all totally enjoyed.

Above and beyond place in terms of customer service as well as food. Located right in the middle of Downtown Ottawa, this place is great for Indian food. Found this place randomly searching online for good Indian food and it exceeded our expectations. The host serving us was very helpful in suggesting what should we order and made food taste to order. The portion size is great as well. Can’t recommend it enough.
Both food and service are amazing. I’ve been to so many Indian restaurants in different countries. This is one of my best. The garlic Naan is the best I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely come back.

Great indian dishes.Arguably the best in town. Went there after 2 years due to this situation and didn't realize i missed it so much. Butter chicken and lamb are my favs and I would recommend anyone who is fan of indian food come try this place. Both brothers who operate are amazing and one of the only place which plays punjabi and hindi music in background to bring indian vibes. Thanks guys for always making my experience amazing.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Great food and excellent service. Looks can be deceiving. The place looks like a regular fast food joint, the food is anything but. The fish curry was fantastic. Portions are huge.
