Since this restaurant was the closest and top recommended, we went to satisfy our impromptu craving for authentic Indian food. The customer service was great but couldn't say the same for the food. The curry was good (medium spicy) but bread (multi layer naan and garlic naan) wasn't appealing, could see the uncooked layers and tasted like raw flour.
Unusually good Indian restaurant on Rideau Street, Ottawa. I was sorry I could not dine in, but in the middle of the pandemic, they were only doing takeouts. Their chicken tikka was a good and tasty deal.

Absolutely spectacular food. I have ordered at the very least 10 dishes and they were all phenomenal
If you are thinking of breakfast not really good option. We ordered samosas, alootiki and pakora and coffee in drink. Samosa was okay, not bad. Pakora too much oily I won’t suggest that. Rather try Aloo-tikii. Service was great. 2/3 rating is for service.
Best naan bread ever (freshly made, still hot and lightly charred!) By far the best Indian food in Ottawa... and beyond! Every dish on the menu is amazing and worth trying. Staff are kind and friendly. We will continue to order! Thanks so much RamaKrishna! :)
It was great experience with Ramakrishna Restaurant, I’ll say.. without visiting this restaurant visit of Ottawa is worst. Good taste of starter , curries are good too in dish. Good experience, can be recommended #IndianRestaurant
I have gotten multiple different dishes and each of them was so flavourful and fresh! Definitely my favourite Indian restaurant in Ottawa!
The restaurant was fully packed and they didn't follow covid restrictions.
