The ice cream is super delicious!!!Got the home made waffle cone with a scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough ans a scoop of chocolate moose tracks.Waffle cone was delicious and the ice cream tasted great as well.Seating is available outside in a few colorful chairs. No seating inside.Would recommend and will come back again during summer :)
Tried to go for ice cream as a treat after my daughter's COVID shot. Unfortunately despite Google, Restaurant Guru and any other source online saying it was open 10am - 6pm, the place looked like it was closed down for the season.I tried calling, no answer and no message to say they're closed. They have no website and their Facebook page hasn't been updated since 2016.It would be nice to have SOME kind of messaging to tell potential customers that you're not open during the winter months. That way they don't waste their time driving out like we did...
The ice cream was very good. A small cup is pretty big and allowed 2 flavours. Milkshake had too much milk mixed in with the ice cream so wish we had stuck with just ice cream for that one. The chocolates look amazing but we haven't tried them yet. Nice mix of milk, dark, and white chocolate options. Picked up some Turtles and they are pretty heavy. The chocolate is priced by weight.
I really liked the caramel popcorn here , the best I have ever had . And many other yummy desserts I didn't get to try yet because I m trying to control all that sugar intake . So my girlfriend ate my whe bad of caramel popcorn as I was driving asking me where I got it from. This helped with my sugar intake but i might go back for more.
Prices good, ice cream amazing. I would appreciate if the debit machine had a tip option. Some people aren't cheap.***Because of covid people aren't carrying cash and she deserves a tip.***Would recommend.
So many flavours and it all tastes amazing! Friendly staff, covid rules in place, and lots of parking. Even have seats to sit down outside and enjoy. Would be nice to have a garbage outside, however.
Cute little spot serving Kawartha Dairy ice cream so you know it's gonna be good and consistent. My favorite is the pralines and cream. Typical pricing for Ottawa standards. There's a few seats outside if you want to hang out. Location is clean, smells delicious, has lots of parking, and the staff are really nice.
Have to wait outside. Only one family at a time in store. Makes the best dark chocolate pecan clusters with lots of toffee in them. Worth going out of your way to pick some up. I often get a bunch for gifts.
Ice cream is not made by then, but Kawartha Dairy is a great product on its own... My shake was a little low on ice cream but I decided to go " diet" this time.. plenty of parking spots, service is 1 family at a time but it was fast. Not cheap but still affordable. They also sell home made chocolates but AC is full blown right there and I couldn't stand it.Nice touch having chairs outside, ?
I had a milkshake & a handful of ginger in dark chocolate. They are both excellent. I also bought some almond bark and it was tasty too. Will go back !!
