Chicken was ok but the place is not clean. I have had better Popeyes chicken elsewhere in the city.
Best Popeyes ever. Their attitudes are very good and welcoming ??? the manager is very funny. Food is amazing.
The chicken prices are pretty oily so I usually order the chicken tenders. Always check your order because most of the time I go there they always forget to add an item to my order.
The food was super oily. The food I ordered was refried and tasted like rubber. Definitely old food was given, when I brought it to the staffs attention, they re-made the fresh one which was not cooked properly. Had to throw away the food, so disappointed with the service and the quality.

It would be great if the manager would at least address them.Anyhow this safety protocol can be improve by their management.
I am a regular here. Pretty inconsistent taste and terrible customer service. Today was intolerable.1. To begin with the girl who took the order was untrained and do not how to apply coupons. She was overcharging and when corrected, started to loose her cool. I requested her to give better pieces because last time they gave me all dark meat. She does not know which piece is dark and white. She did not know the proper composition for 5 pc combo - 2 can dine offer. Another lady came to help her and she ended up just giving 4 pcs instead of 5.2. When confronted she denied to even listen to me and I heard she saying the same lady to go to me as she does not want to attend me. This was unacceptable behaviour but I still forgive her because she is a student and learning. The lady added the 5th pc asked if I am happy. Is she doing me a FAVOUR? I still forgive because she was struggling with the language3. All this was being watched by Manager, staring at me and not helping anyone. Especially his staff. Such poor management.4. Asked for spicy but it turned out to be more bland than regular chicken. No spice no salt. I had to thrash it.. what an experienceOwner pays you all to do your job well and we pay for the food. Please work sincerely and serve customers well. Don’t cheat owner and the customersNote for owner - I feel sorry but I got to report your franchise to Popeyes because of your inability to improve. Review rating of 2.8 says it all. You need to change the oil regularly or use the good quality oil. There is always throat irritation after eating your chicken every time
My local Popeyes in Barrhaven has some of the greatest service , very quick in completing your order and the food tastes amazing...so much better then KFC
The chicken is good...better than KFC in my opinion. I would have scored them higher but the service is always horrendous...always. They never seem to have enough chicken ready. I get they don't want to over cook and have waste or have it sit too long under heat lamps but I usually go during key meal periods so you would think they would be ready. This time I went just after 6 pm. I knew right away there was going to be a long wait when I walked in and there was about 6 pieces of mild and no spicy. Then there ended up being about 15 of us waiting 15+ minutes for the next batch of chicken. This happens pretty much every time I go which is why I hardly go to Popeyes anymore.
I like Popeyes chicken in general but I find this location to be a lot slower than other locations. The staff don't seem to have a sense of urgency during peak hours. Most of the time I find myself waiting half an hour for my food. The food however is always hot and fresh.
I found a hair in my chicken tender, which is on its own disgusting enough, but then I contacted the store, which was completely dismissive of it and accused me of lying. So I went on and contacted the corporate office, but never even got an acknowledgement, so forget about a reply or a resolution.Not that it would change anything for me never going back to this location, but the fries were terribly soggy and cold and the service was slow and the employees seemed like they didn't want to be here and the attitude that goes with it.
