They didn’t have any biscuits today, but charged the full price for the family meal that came with 6 biscuits. I had to press them once I had paid and noticed on my receipt to ask how they could justify that practice. It was only after I challenged them that they said they offer a side dish instead of biscuits in situations like that. Clearly they rely on most people not saying anything and pocketing money for nothing. Nice little scam they run.
I've gone here 4 times, and each visit was worst than the last. I should have learned my lesson; I won't be fooled again. I've had pink chicken breast, undercooked shrimp, and inevitably, some aspect of my order is messed up. A "no mayonnaise" request was interpreted as "please smear a pound of mayo at the top and bottom of each bun." Forgotten drinks, forgotten buscuits - this feels like less of a restaurant, and more of a hidden camera show to see how far they can mess up orders before someone cracks. This place is more Brutus than Popeye's.
Made me wait 20 minutes to find out they lost my order... and then still wanted me to pay full price when then friends i had arrived and ordered with has already eaten their meals. They then couldn't put the money back onto my card and refunded me cash after i told them my lunch break is over and i now had to return to work on an empty stomach.
Great food! One male staff not very friendly or helpful my first time there. Same demeanor every time within an hour of closing. Go early!
Even though their prices are higher than ideal for a family of 5, their food is always good and delicious. We rarely go here because of the prices but the food is worth it when you have the money for it!
Ordered from here on ubereats tonight. Not only was the chicken soggy and dripping with grease, but I was missing half of my order. Forgot my drinks, my sauces, my biscuits, and oh, sent me a side of coleslaw and beans with rice that I didn't order. Was hoping that the extra sides could make up for my missing items, but they were awful too.Its been a long time since I've ordered popeyes. And I will never order again. Bang up job guys.
I LOVE POPEYES. Great location, and great customer service. Save ur receipts and do the survey yall. What they don't mention is the survey on the back of the receipt is no valid after 2 days. So get ur free chicken piece and biscuit ASAP.
Manager isn’t qualified for the job. Ignores the customer’s criticism. Isn’t open to cope about the situation. Got served 5 pieces of chicken, most of them were rotten and had an unusual color. I Asked to replace them. And he insisted that there’s nothing wrong with them. He didn’t bother to even look at them at the first place
Horrible experience at Popeyes on Hunt Club Rd. Ottawa. Just had my Uber Eats order dropped off: missing all the biscuits & drinks, and none of this special instructions were followed. Some people have allergies and need to be careful. Now we have a disappointed 6 year old, and missing a considerable portion of what we paid for. And the perfect topper: nobody answers the phone, and their voicemail isn’t set up. Always open to great feedback, aren’t they?
The only reason I am giving them a three star review is because the food is good. Even though it is Covid season the washrooms weren't clean, the tables needed disinfecting not just wiping down amd the wait at this location is ridiculous, they are severely understaffed, and the employees seem burned out. Manager/owner please staff properly for efficient service. I definitely think all the problems at this location are ownership caused.
