One of my favourite Vietnamese pho restaurants! I love that they have Bo Thang (L on the menu), they also make fresh Ban Cuon.
Get their Pho Bac Special spring rolls (A18) - it's legitness, the way a Vietnamese spring roll should be; any other type of wrapper used is not authentic! Another authentic dish is the Banh Cuon! Both are amazing and a must try if you like Northern Vietnamese cuisine
Came with a big group but service was fast and food was delicious and in big portions, will always leave with a filled and satisfied stomach. Owner and staff are lovely. Definitely my favourite Pho place in Chinatown.
Great family run place that’s as authentic as it gets without actually leaving for for Vietnam. I’ve had the bun cha ca and spring rolls which are the best and cannot be matched or found anywhere in Ottawa/Gatineau area. I know this from living and dining in the area for the past 20+ years. How amazing to find a place that makes food like my mom used to when she was still around. Going to pho bac brings back memories and flavours of home cooking. I strongly recommend this place.
I was there on Apr 16. The food is not bad, but the toilet is not available for dine in customers that day because of some plumbing issues. I think it is unethical to allow dine in when you have no toilet for customers.

Very friendly owners! I'm so glad we found them again - they used to run a restaurant on lebreton st north/Somerset that I would go to all the time. It seems to be family fun which is nice. On several occasions in the old restaurant (pre-covid), if a guest came in with a baby, the owners would offer to hold them while the parents ate - I've never seen this kindness or service at any other restaurant in Ottawa! The Pho is very consistent and I'm happy with the broth, and I always enjoy their pork spring rolls. I will continue to frequent this lovely restaurant.
Excellent authentic food and friendly fast service. Beautiful decor and lots of live plants and a fish tank the kids enjoyed.
Went a few days ago to try their Pho and I was not disappointed. Family owned and run restaurant, fast and friendly service, quality ingredients, tasty meal, clean facility. The prices are also extremely reasonable. Thank you for the great experience!
Just had a dinner with my family here today. So great feeling! So nice service! Awesome owner! I love Bun Cha Ca that served as a complimentary dish. Strongly recommend for anyone who wish to try the art of Vietnamese food & drink. Thank you, I will be back every week :).
