Their fried pickles were delicious. I loved the thin cut to them but it didn't suit the $12 price tag for any 2 slices sliced up pickles. The banana and coconut pie slices were obscenely small for the $6 price tag but they were tasty.The server was great but she forgot my side of dressing.The restaurant had a mildew mixed with fried oil smell to it, so an update to the carpeting or ventilation would be helpful.

Friendly wait staff, yummy food. I feel like this draws an older crowd for dinner. Their breakfast is so so goodTheir dinners are comfort food (roast, fish, pot pie, etc). I always like going here with my family because everyone finds something to satisfy them. The place looks clean, obviously I haven't seen the kitchen but generally speaking if they have a clean washroom they have a clean kitchen haha. Reminds me of my grandmas cooking, just a good classic family restaurant.
I always loved coming here since about 2013, I still come in with my husband and our two kids. The kids loved the food & my husband and I enjoy the family setting. I always gets the breakfast as its all day breakfast. You can never go wrong with what you order :)
This is one of the best breakfast restaurants in the city.Fast, friendly efficient service.Prices are great.My only issue is having to line up to pay. Sometimes there are dozens waiting and the single cashier will be making small talk.Get staff who can manage money and debit machines and let customers choose to pay at the table.Like big boy restaurants do.
Excellent in all respects. Our party of 3 all had different breakfasts. All plentiful, nicely presented, and great tasting. Our server was excellent in making sure everything Was as ordered. Bottomless coffee pots! Very pleased and will be returning again!
Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Ottawa. I’ve been there like 20 times and everytime the service is always great. Never have I ever complained about anything at Perkin’s. The food and milkshakes are even better. The quantity is so filling, I always pack my food to go, and the prices are so affordable. I’ve tried almost everything in the menu and I still enjoy every bit of it
We went for dinner, I know it is a breakfast restaurant. The lunch and dinner menu is very limited . We tried the make your own appetizers and fish and fries. The price is good the quantity of food is really good. The taste was ok for some of the food. The fish was dry and the bacon beans were just ok.
Honestly dissatisfied with the portion of food I got for $15.The host who took our order was really excellent and kind. Her work in being a professional and helpful raised this to a 3 star rating.Sorry Perkins - I've liked your food but I felt really let down seeing what I got.
Wow! Great lunch at Perkins Restaurant the other day! Our first time there and we will definately return!I orded the turkey ? dinner and my husband order breakfast ??((I attached the write up on each in the pic's as well as the plates when they came out.)) My husbands platter was amazing ? he loved the shredded potatoes. I enjoyed mine as well. Their coffee is on point! ? The only surprise was that the turkey was Butterball but it was a turkey roll? Which is not what you see in the menu pic. Whoa, was it salty!! Other than that, I enjoyed the dish. Great table service and friendly staff!!
