Oysters were delicious, as well as our main - Scallops with Pork Belly. Wonderful staff that take time with you. We will definitely return on our next Ottawa trip!

First things first....the service here is fantastic!!!! Now let's get to the good stuff.....this has to be in my top 2-3 favorite restaurants in Ottawa!! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! The lobster poutine was our star of the show but the lobster roll, fish and chips and clam chowder were all a very close second. If you want to know what fresh tastes like...come here. Looking forward to going back and trying all the other dishes!!! Keep up the great work!! Enjoy ?
Super fresh seafood!!! We didn't get the happy hour but had a chance to try their three different types of oysters, clam chowder, ceviche, fish taco, and fish and chips! I thought the menu was a bit pricey until I saw the serving size. Super generous portion and everything we ordered was delicious. Definitely would come back again to try other things on the menu including lobster roll and fresh whole lobster.

We were a group of 8. Our gourmet club taking a break from cooking thought we'd try the highly recommended Pelican Grill. We ordered a number of different dishes and the average bill per person was in the $40 (CDN) range. Not bad. Service was excellent and the waiter had the proper balance between serving and socializing. A pleasant experience from that view. However, the food was less than perfect. My wife's Coconut Shrimp was overcooked and there was little coconut flavour. My Shrimp Tikka Masala was adequate but it is frustrating to try to pull the tail off the shrimp when it's covered with spicy sauce. Another lady who had asked for a mild Tikka found it over spiced. Nothing major but just enough slight issues to make the meal less than fully enjoyable.
I really enjoy the experience today provided by pelican seafood grill! Excellent food, fabulous atmosphere and best service. Tried one of the signature and I got shocked by that crispy skin with that special lemon source. It was delicious when you had that combined within the juicy white meat. Even though the crab cake is kind of expensive if you choose to dine in instead of pick up but worth to try it. Will be my first time and won’t be my last time!Just added some photos for second time. Have to try all the food they had!
Pelican, which was recommended to us by locals, is an unprepossessing place in an unprepossessing suburban mall. The meal we had was fabulous, however: calamari, a green salad and mussels in a white wine and cream sauce. Perfect with a glass of sauvignon blanc. The prices are very reasonable; the service was very good. We'll try to come here again the next time we visit Ottawa.
Great spot to get your seafood fix! The young man who helped us was very friendly and my Mom even commented on how good looking he was.(shout out to my female viewers ;)I tried a cod cake and a crab cake. Both with the horseradish dip and they were both very good. I preferred the cod cake myself. Next time I’ll grab a seat for a dozen oysters
