Update: the manager called me and refunded me plus a free meal. It seems the early signoff isn't a norm.Ordered for pickup at 7pm. When I arrived, nobody was in the shop while the door was open. It looked so wired. My food was nowhere to be found. I guess they were all gone before my order was placed.
Recently discovered Panera Bread in the states and Fell in love with the place!Came to this one, expecting the same level of service and quality and it was not there at all.Many missing items, no breads, the service is slow and the food was lacking.If this was my first time at a Panera Bread, it would be my last. It’s definitely my last at this location.
This used to be my favourite place so I decided to bring my friends today and was disappointed. The staff are very unprofessional. First of all the place is filthy, more than half of the restaurant seating was closed and the rest of it had food and garbage everywhere on the tables and floor. My friend and I ordered their “warm bowl” like a rice bowl dish. Btw do not order this, apparently it is very hard for them to make. When I ordered it, the cashier later grabbed me to say they don’t have a container to put it in so they can’t make it and will issue me a refund. I said you don’t have a dish? We are eating in, she replies “oh you don’t want the ceramic dishes they’ve been sitting here for years and are dirty”. I said I can see into the back area that you have foam bowls or something that it would fit in. She still tried to say that this wasn’t the right container. Then she grabbed her manager and she magically found disposable bowls to put it in. They also didn’t have any bread/baguettes. When we walked in, it smelt like someone had burnt a bunch of bread. One of my friends ordered a warm bowl to go and was told they didn’t have a dish again, and I reminded them we just ordered some 10 mins ago go grab your manager to find you the bowls. The staff were arguing with each other the whole time we were there. There was a red haired high schooler looking girl who was behind the cash making the food and was rolling her eyes at my friend about making the rice bowl.Its sad what has happened here. Everyone is very passive aggressive. Do not come here.When they went on about not having a dish, I was about to leave and take the refund but I could see the manager was trying to fix the situation. I hope head office does something about this, it’s sad because it was a great restaurant.
Went to this place in Ottawa tonight. They took my order after several minutes waiting the girl came out and saw d no deli turkey. I chose roasted. She cut one slice thin and one wide and did not cut the sandwich through. The bread split and very messy. I ordered to go and add mustard. I as told order said no mustard. That was wrong she opened double sandwich and added mustard so much it soaked the bread to mush. For 16.95 I expected better. This used to be a nice place to go but very run down and sandwich staff rude. Will not go back or recommend.
No large sign in the window that clearly marked NO INDOOR EATING on specific days. Absolutely unaccommodating, unacceptable. When we walked in that should have been the very first thing they say, but instead the boy at the register said their debit card service was not working and had to pay cash. Seniors had to sit outside in 57 f, overcast. Also changed the order slightly and they still got it wrong.The soup was at best, lukewarm and lacked taste.
Normally I love Panera food. This is my first time through the drive thru. I must say they take advantage of that. I received my chicken gala salad with NO dressing and no apple chips! The whole reason I buy this salad is for those chips. Pretty dry and not so tasty salad when you go through drive through. Very disappointed
My first time going, very disappointed. Placed our order. They forgot the dressing for the salad, French onion soup was warm at best, no crotons either. After placing the order at the drive through the waitress said you get to choose 6 sides, we said ok 3 chips and 3 apple.. Well we got the chips and nothing else. I would suggest double checking your order before leaving
We drove two hours to go to this panera. It is drive through only and the line was fairly long. All the employees we interacted with were friendly, kind and hospitable. The food was so delicious it was well worth the long drive thru wait. We went back again a second time and there were only a few cars ahead of us. The food was excellent again and all the workers were all friendly and polite. I would definitely drive here again since the borders are still closed. Thank you for an amazing experience, the good service really makes a difference and can make someone’s day! ??☺️
Every time I try to order panera off of SkipTheDishes there seems to be an issue every single time. When u call the store they never answer. They cancel delivery orders and never turn the delivery app on in time. I love the food here but really wish the orders were more consistent and the managers were more present.
Tried the new mac and cheese sandwich was good. But I don't think it is worth the price they are charging. I had the whole sandwich my wife had a half ,2 americano and it was over 30 dollars.
