Unfortunately first attempt was closed due networking event still found it to be somewhat short notice. This was during a brewery crawl. Will give it a second chance as they did try to connect to my work LinkedIn for some odd reason. Still Google maps time change would of been better. Until next time, Cheers.
Great little brewery. Went at lunch so it wasn't too busy but I can imagine it has a great atmosphere in the evenings. Beer was good too!
Found this resto via a search on TripAdvisor. I called ahead to ensure they had a menu, as it was not indicated on their website. We were 2 adults and 2 kids, who were very hungry. The space is very large, with an industrial vibe going on. Our waitress seemed to be very new, as she was not familiar with the menu. The place is a brewery but be advised, they have little to no food items on the menu. No pub fare here. They literally had 6 menu items to choose from. I ordered a pulled pork panini. It was good, bread was fresh and the pulled pork was tender. It came naked with no sides. I ordered the coleslaw as a side, which my daughter ended up stealing from me. So I ordered another side of coleslaw. Unbeknownst to me, there were two sizes to the coleslaw and the waitress automatically brought me the large family-size quantity (even though I specifically asked for the side serving). I ended up paying more than double for this coleslaw that I ate not even 1/2 of. There was only small donuts for the dessert, which were fresh and tasty. Overall, I would say that this restaurant is suffering from an identity crisis when it comes ro the food menu. They need to add more items and ensure that they are following one theme.
I thought I’d explore and find a new place to have a pint and maybe get some work done.I was so blown away by the space. Emily was an absolute gem- I hope she is always working when I return!
5 plus; February 26th the music was awesome and the saxophone ? omg, absolutely loved it!! I really enjoyed the cider as well, will definitely return and have the cider again.. thank you soo much.. My soul so needed this evening with all the turmoil thats going on right now!!
The best beer and food in Ottawa! Great location, and super friendly staff. They have an amazing patio too!
