If I can give no stars I would. They are ruining Osmows name. The Bayshore mall location has better food and better customer service. The owner needs to change the staff or train them, the staff is downright disrespectful! Wait times are an hour and if any of the staff friends or Indian walk in they give them priority. This is the second time this happened we wait for our turn but the girl at the counter extremely unprofessional and rude, she basically told the Indian guy in her language that I cannot give you your order now because the customers are watching! That’s when my husband who understands what she said told her that he knew exactly what she just said the Indian guy walked out of embarrassment and the girl the staff literally refused to provide her name and walked off rudely without apologizing and responding. Only when my husband and another customer said that we just saw you serve like 5 of your friends that only just came in did they finally give the order after 1 HR of waiting!DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! They are extremely biased and will give priority to their friends no matter if you have been waiting and have already paid! EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL! And there food is so bad it is old and after the wait time and price you pay that is not expected! Requires change of staff and management as this is the second time this happened will never return to this location!
Very disappointed. I have had this issue twice in a row now. I asked for "a little" spice on my beef shawarma. It is extremely spicy and did not hold together at all. They put so much hot sauce on it that it is completely soggy and then fell to pieces after two bites. I called in last time they did this and they ended up giving me a free shawarma to make up for it, but I will sadly not be coming back to osmows at college Square.
I ordered veg falafel wrap and it was So so so tasty and delicious I ordered this before on different location but this was completely different and yummy.Thank You For this very well made wrap and yes I want to say thank you to amazing guy Denish and his team for the great service tasty food.Highly recommend .
The food is good I like the concept of mixing rice with chicken and salad and sauce on top! The employees are polite but they need to listen to the orders or have a better system. 80% of the time the order doesn’t come out like you ordered at the cash.
Ordered a shawarma with high hopes. Unfortunately it was the worst shawarma I have ever encountered. Soggy bread did not hold together and paltry ingredients. Sorry guys, if you're going to sell something it has to be better... much better.
Its like comfort food, nothing can go wrong. Love their hot sauce.
I have been buying food from this location for at least six months twice a weekI love the food and restaurant.But the store employees were rude to my wife when she asked the staff yesterday to make sure the chicken was crispy and not undercooked. Suddenly, an employee served night told her that they are not doing crispy chicken where we had been buying food that way since our first osmosis experience.I am very much disappointed with the employee's attitude and mismanagement of customer satisfaction in that particular location. So owners, please make sure the customers are treated equally and not based on colour or where they are coming from India ??. I will make purchases from this restaurant again, and I hope the rude behaviour will be eliminated from some of the staff.For the same reason of chicken was undercooked, we had health issues, and I will report it to the city.
Arrived a full hour before closing. Teenage looking worker was rolling up carpets so I asked if they were closing. He said no. I stood in front of the counter for a whole 5 minutes and was not acknowledged. The girl working was cooking chicken? With her back turned to me. The other teenager went into the back after meandering around the kitchen (I was waiting for him to wash his hands and perhaps address me) .I walked away after over 5 minutes of being ignored in an other wise quiet evening.. there were no other customers. (the night of huge snowstorm). I was friendly and calm. Perhaps they were racist because I'm white? Or perhaps they just don't want customers. Either way. I'll never return. I suggest Royal Paan down the road. They accept all customers there not just their friends and family.
Great food, but even the lowest spice level is too much for some, otherwise delicious food.
It’s always a shame when an establishment that serves great food just falls on its face when it comes to service. Because the food is quite good I find myself going through the same awful non service over and over. Customers walk into Osmows and never get acknowledged, never a hello, nothing! Actually the staff doesn’t actually say anything, no thank you nothing. I’m sure they are buried in Uber eats etc but I may just stop going through the painful process of poor customer service.
