The food is great! A take off of traditional cuisine from Newfoundland and Labrador. I recommend the fries with gravy and stuffing, the fish chowder, and any of the tacos.Service is always friendly and responsive. May was so friendly and warm.Quiet part of Ottawa with little downtown traffic (except during rush hour, but what’re you gonna do?) and a nice patio.
An okay spot for lunch in downtown Ottawa. Too bad there’s construction outside, otherwise their patio would be nice. Opted to sit inside instead. Coffee was standard and was refilled. Got the fish taco ($7.50) and pork belly taco ($7.75) which were fine but nothing to rave about. The small fries ($4.95) were good! Came with their house made ketchup which was quite unique.
Me and my husband is travelling 5 hrs drive from Brampton , as for first time travelling in Ottawa we search for one of the best restaurant here in Ottawa and we find this restaurant and decided to dine in . We dine around 12:30 and we got our food for 1:30 we waited for 1 hr for Brunch Plate I give one star at first because I saw a lot of people is leaving because they are waiting for food for long but we decided to stay stick around and give it a try because each restaurant have there inconvenient but the services they give is very good even though they are short of staff so I give 4 start because the food is great too .. let’s say it’s good waiting for :) thank you for Stuff Sofia for giving us a good service
This restaurant allegedly serves food. While I spent over an hour inside this place, I cannot confirm this. I did enjoy being told that our order was next up multiple times over the course of 30 minutes (the second 30 minutes). We always wondered, are we finally next? But no, we weren't. In fact, no one was next. Looking at the many empty tables that had no food just like ours, I was happily reminded that it could be worse - imagine how slow they are when it's genuinely busy. They brought the water quickly though. So if you're looking for a place that brings you water and no food, well, you found it. Also some of the waitstaff will be rude to you after you ask for the food that you ordered an hour ago.In summation:- No food- Yes water- Rude waitstaff (some, not all)I would only recommend this restaurant to really thirsty squirrels. Not all thirsty squirrels, just the really thirsty ones. Squirrels have standards.

Went on a Friday evening for dinner with family. Service was excellent and food was served quickly and everything was delicious! Had the pulled pork burger with fresh cut fries and loved the homemade ketchup that came with it.

Delicious food. Tasty variety. Appreciated the vegan dessert option. (I'm allergic to dairy). Friendly, courteous staff. Lovely atmosphere. Well done with the inclusive washrooms which were neat and clean.
The food looked good but was just ordinary nothing to knock your socks off.We ordered breakfast tacos and a brunch plate.Tocos, just eggs with leaves, cheese and no sauce to incorporate the flavours. The salad that came with it, looks good but it was missing flavour.Brunch plate, beans were undercooked and the sauce with runny, and toast was just cheap bread, not an artisan.The server was great and attentive.
