Just wanted to say thank you for a fabulous meal and a wonderful dining experience. The food was perfect and the service was second to none. We had a party of 8, the food was perfect, hot, and delicious. Our servers were fantastic, very friendly and accommodating. Lovely atmosphere. We had a great evening.
Bruschetta and Caesar salad were delicious, manicotti was amazing, crème brûlée left something to be desired though as the crust was not properly done. The cold coffee beverage was very nice and so was the house wine but would have preferred a cocktail ice cube in my Negroni to the small hollow ice especially in the summer on a patio as it melts extremely fast. Service was a bit slow especially considering it wasn’t busy but overall was a nice experience.
Dinner with four friends. Everyone was very pleased with their meals. Fried zucchini appetizer was amazing! Not from frozen food section! Made fresh and crispy. Our mains were also amazing...fresh sauces, perfect pasta, meat and seafood. Service was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend.
This is an incredible spot! The service was delightful, warm, and friendly. Gave us time to chat and catch up while getting us set up with wine etc. The food was impeccable. Every bite, présentation, portions, flavours and freshness. Have not had many meals in Ottawa that can surpass this dining experience. Well Done Napoli's. You outshine other establishments and deserve to be recognized for creating a wonderful atmosphere for cozy dining. We will be back to enjoy your terrace too!!! Thank you!!
A first class dining experience - Our dinner party of 10 each had a different meal, everyone was pleased with their dish. A complimentary appetizer was very appreciated by the group. Alicia (our server) was excellent and the kitchen was very accommodating to the 10 year old diner within our party.My only "criticism" would be the credit card requirement to hold our reservation; however, I can only imagine what a 10 person no-show or last minute cancellation would have on operations so I guess it's understandable.
Delicious food, nice atmosphere, great for date nights.Also, we have ordered delivery several times (uber) and the food is always good.
Very nice ambience for a fine dining restaurant. food was good. the bread they served at the beginning wasnt the best though for an italian restaurant. recommend for couples trying to have a night out
Absolutely amazing food, and experience. We ordered the Chicken Gorgonzola and the slow braised short rib. I tried both dishes, and they were delicious. The beef fell apart as I was trying to eat it, so tender and tasty. Service was impeccable as always!! Thank you Nicole! This is a family run business and it shows, attention to detail is over the top, and always a fantastic experience. Personal attention to detail, and warm friendly welcoming is always present by Bassel and his family. Thank you for hosting us! we will be back. I highly recommend Napoli's, regardless of where you are located, it is worth the time to visit!
My boyfriend and I decided to try Napolis a few days ago, but unfortunately the service and dinning in experience was not great.I want to note that this restaurant was wayyyy too crowded with the 50% capacity covid restrictions. We could see some of the staff sometimes lower their mask which made it an uncomfortable dinning in experience.We understand that covid has been hard on a lot of smaller businesses and has caused staffing shortages, however, the overall experience was extremely disappointing especially for a higher end restaurant. We placed a reservation for 7:30, and as we walked in, it took a long time for someone to come greet us. When someone finally spoke to us, they told us to wait a moment - It looked like they didn’t even have a table ready even though we had a reservation.The food was very disappointing especially the bruschetta and the pesto main course - The bruschetta was a very small portion and poor quality while the pesto pasta was just not very tasty and flavourless - Considering this is a high end Italian restaurant, we expected better quality and tastier food.We also had 3 different servers come to our table - one filled up my boyfriend’s water glass, but decided to leave mine half empty and another told us she’d get us the bill for us 3 times but never came back with it ( another server took care of it).We were very disappointed with the overall experience at Napolis. We would have really liked to continue to support a local restaurant, however, the bad experience and food is not worth coming back.
Ordered take out on new years eve, waited less than 5 minutes. Dee-licious. Nice big portions!! We'll be going there next time we're up for Italian cuisine...
