We recently ordered a large quantity of food for a party from Mr. Shawarma on Baseline Road and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, fresh and extremely generous in portions. Bilal, one of the managers, was easy to work with and the food was ready on time. My guests loved it. I would highly recommend ordering food from Mr. Shawarma for any event you are having. Was in the area and tried Mr. Shawarma for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Quick and friendly service, and the restaurant was clean. The sauce was lacking a bit compared to my usual place, but the shawarma sandwich was stuffed with meat - and the spices in the meat definitely made up for the sauce. Good value for your money and good service. :)
Amazing veggie shawarma and kind staff ( the restaurant was calm at that time) already craving for more !!!!PS: for vegetarians, get the veggie one with eggplant, falafel, garlic potato, lettuce, tomato, onion, GARLIC SOUCE, hummus, and the one they always offer in the end (sassimi souce?)
Been getting my shawarma from these guys for years, they have staff that have been there longer then I can remember, always friendly, always fresh and always tasty.
Mr. Shawarma is the best place I can think of for a shawarma plate. It has lasted me two meals and is delih! Their humous and garlic sauce are fabulous! A gem!
Mr. Shawarma on Baseline Rd. always has such friendly and kind staff and the food is great, too! Everything is fresh and they always give very generous portions. Top notch people and food!
Just a heads-up to people who want to go to this place for food: I had place an order for family pack for 5, and the order I received was mostly potatoes and rice plus some meat, as you can see on the picture. When I called to complain after they asked for the picture, they told me that's our standard for meat, when I asked him how can I feed 5 people (adult) with this much meat, he said your standard is different from us.I would never ever go to this place again. Even 1 star is too much for this place.
I ordered through Skip the Dishes. I have a vegetarian, so I called the restaurant to ensure the meat was in separate containers and not with the other ingredients in the platters. They assured me that would be the case. When it arrived that was not the case. The meat was placed on top of the vegetables, rice and potatoes (all 3 of the potatoes in each platter??). When I called them to complain, the person who answered totally acknowledged she had received my request and would phone back after speaking to the manager. When she called back, and said there was nothing they could do, the excuses ranged from "we can't put the meat in separate containers" to "I'm not the person who prepares the food". We have been loyal customers for years. Never again!!
Straight and honest your food quality is good but service is poor. People didn’t like when you keep messing up with their orders.
Best garlic potatoes ever!!! Like, anywhere in the city!!! Baseline/Greenbank location makes it the best.
