I have eaten there over 50 times and every single time the taste remain impeccable. The meat is tender and moist on the inside and crispy on the outside; the honking Biff rib is highly recommended, so are the burgers the kawpow shrimps, the big Mama lemonade the Caesar salad, really anything in their menu. If you're not sure of what to choose close your eyes and pick anything you just won't and can't regret it.
My wife and went in for diner. We ordered the fajitas from the menu. The server took our order , She did not offer any water at that time. We did order a couple of drinks . The fajitas arrived in about five minutes, the server puts it on the table and says enjoy. No plates, no cutlery or napkins. We wait for a few minutes and she comes by dropping off water to a table behind us. I mentioned to her that we need plates . Off she goes and come back with 2 plates, no cutlery, I said we will need cutlery and napkins, duhhh! So comes back a few minutes later with the items and in a snarky voice Is there anything else you need. As for the Fajitas, the steak and chicken must been reheated a few times and the pulled pork that came with it had no flavour whatsoever. We asked another waiter for some BBQ sauce and that helped. The torts that came with the fajitas were not even warm. Overall, would never set foot in Montana’s again. Poor service, Poor food Untrained server’s.
Dine-in experience is almost always better than the home-delivery option. Friendly, helpful service and great food. Not cheap, but not crazy expensive.
Went here last night. Service was satisfactory. Steak cooked to perfection but the loaded baked potato was raw in the middle and looked like it hadn't been given much thought which threw off the meal. Also they put me in a booth near the kitchen and I felt like I was roasting alive. I definitely would not go back here again.
Greeter and server were great. We as a group enjoyed our evening.My issue is I ordered a fish and chip dinner and it came in a bowl. I guess it's a great vessel to hide how thin the fish was and make it soggy.It's true if I had a pet fish I would want it to be in a bowl, but if I am eating a fish filet, I want it on a plate. It makes no sense to me.
Our server Nikki was absolutely amazing! She made our night ! She was friendly, funny and super attentive. Amazing server who seems like she truly enjoys what she does. We will absolutely be back!
Yesterday I had lunch at Montana's on Bank Street in Ottawa I ordered the 7 oz AAA Sirloin steak, medium rare, served with a baked potatoe, baked beans and two onion rings. The steaks are apparently aged for 50 days, and Canadian AAA top sirloin. The steak was exactly as I had requested, medium rare, and very tender and mouth-watering! So tender it was, that it was like cutting a block of butter with a hot knife! Potatoe baked perfectly and the onion rings tasty as well. The serving of baked beans, however, could have been more generous without adding additional costs for such a fine meal. The waitress, Letisha, was very courteous, friendly, attentive, and the service from sit down to completion, was prompt. I will certainly be returning the next time I want to venture out to enjoy a delicious sirloin steak, which I rarely do.
Came here for Family day with my daughters. Actually writing this as we are still here. Great atmosphere. Staff was friendly, food was served quickly and really good portions.The best part was our server Mitchel who was fantastic and had a great sense of humour. Thanks Mitchel

Hostess was a super sweet girl with black hair and lashes to die for! Our waitress was Katie and she got everything perfect and checked on us a couple times, but was not overbearing (which was great). There was a woman with very short red hair who was very enthusiastic and helped out as well, the type of woman that makes you smile just talking to you. Thank you Montanas for a wonderful valentine’s day!
