I was recently there for a work function. There were about 70 of us and we had the entire restaurant.You walk in and it feels like you’re in a upscale lounge in Miami. Soft dim lighting and modern decor.We had hor d’oeuvres. I only ate one as I wanted to save myself for dinner. It was decent.There was bread on the table with an incredible olive oil dip.Then came an amazing salad which had a variety of mixed greens and also had avocado, artichoke and I can’t remember what else.For the entree we had a choice of chicken breast, salmon or a vegetarian pasta. They all sounded boring but I hesitantly chose the salmon. For large parties I usually find the chicken and salmon dry and over cooked.I was pleasantly surprised. The salmon was cooked perfectly and was in this delicious sauce and the veggie sides were all good. Others I spoke to who had the chicken or pasta also gave glowing reviews. Dessert was tiramisu which I polished off even though I was full.And the service? It was amazing. Don’t know how they were able to find me with the drink I ordered at the beginning of the night when we are all mingling and walking around the room.Definitely go there if you can. Or have a party there!
First time dining out in awhile and WOW this best kept Ottawa secret knocked it out of the park! Exceptional dining. All the food and drinks were top-notch. Super elegant and stylishly luxurious atmosphere coupled with friendly staff. Rachel took awesome care of our entire party like a pro. Thanks a lot! Highly recommended Mezzanotte.
The atmosphere was super nice , very romantic and perfect for valentine’s day but we were completelydeceived. I checked the menu beforehand and it was their regular menu, no mention of a “special valentines menu” at all. As we looked at the menu it’s 90-110$ for a three course meal with no warning from the lady I was talking to previously over the phone. I called a bunch of restaurants for valentine’s day and they all warned me about their special menu beforehand so we knew what to expect cost- wise, which is common courtesy. We weren’t the only ones that were decieved as we saw multiple people leave the restaurant upon finding out and even another couple asking about a regular menu and the waiter being surprised that no one told them. We decided it was fine as it was an experience and we were ok with paying that much money. Getting the food it was mediocre and we we’re surprised how bad it was for the price to be honest ! But we finished and got the bill and turns out they included their own tip which was an enormous amount and we actually ended up paying 60$ over the guaranteed price on the menu and we were taxed on the tip ITSELF, so we we’re actually deceived twice. Definetly not worth the price and can go to a cheaper restaurant for way better food and service. Very dissapointed. Also the man who greeted us at the door wasn’t even wearing a mask.
The posh ambiance inside is always fun. The bread and their house dip is AMAZING. We love their calamari. The dishes are always very good.
Beautiful restaurant. Server was very nice and accommodating. The food was delicious.. would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Everything about dinner was wonderful…the food, the service, the atmosphere! Delicious!!!
We came to the restaurant for a baby shower and we had an amazing menu! Their half moon pasta stuffed with ricotta and spinach in a rose sauce was so good, the roasted veg and radicchio salad was amazing, it had raspberry or fig vinaigrette with roasted peppers zucchini, asparagus and quartered artichoke, the dressing was superb in its sweetness and balanced well with the smokiness of the grilled vegetables. Nothing frozen here! Cut fresh! Beautiful! Then we had a huge plate of stuffed chicken which was filled with peppers, asparagus and cheese and enveloped with a luscious gravy, and sides of bokchoy and red and yellow roasted beets, and potato croquettes. The food was fresh, hot, plentiful to say the least. Everyone had to take food home!! The service was meticulous and friendly. It is my first time here but will certainly return to try other wonderful dishes from the regular menu. This restaurant is worth a try. The ambiance, the decor, lighting, very relaxing and beautiful. The bar is well stocked. You can see they take pride in everything they do. Kudos to management and staff for their hard work. It was wonderful!!
Just had my baby shower at mezzanotte! The waiting staff and food was amazing as always.
Had a great dinner tonight with a few co-workers. It’s so nice to get out of the house again.The service was very awesome and the food was impeccable. The seafood pasta was so delicious.
