Really good food and very nice staff. Tender chicken. Tried the lamb shank and it was very tender and had a nice light flavour. I really liked the rice, salad and table bread that came with the lamb shank dish.We always have a great time here.
I came to make reservations for 20 people they said we are closed on Monday. I don’t understand when the restaurant is closed on Mondays why they put in their website “we are open Monday to Sunday” It’s a Resturant that does not have a repetition.
Wonderful food. We had tandoori chicken. It came with salad, rice and Naan. Added 2 side dishes, eggplant and spinach. Also delicious. So thrilled to have access to very healthy prepared food, that is also so tasty. When the family comes to town, we plan to order their platters. The portions are generous. And everything was freshly prepared and hot Thrilled to have this in our neighbourhood.
Mezbaan is one of the best Afghan restaurants in Ottawa. They offer a variety of delicious Afghan food. And the servants are very friendly.

We ordered several dishes for takeout and all the flavours were great. The chapli kebabs with the red sauce were very tasty...and the portion sizes were good too. We will be ordering again!
Absolutely LOVED the food from here. I ordered the chicken breast kebab platter, it came with a nice rice pilafc salad with in-house dressing. Everything tasted so good. The chicken was super juicy and tender. And the flavors were AMAZING.
Amazing Afghan food. Tried it Today for the first time and it won't be the last! The food was extremely tasty and the staff were wonderful as well. The place is nice and clean. I lived in Afghanistan for two years and the food brought me back wonderful memories.
