Great place for breakfast- brunch- lunch. We went there as a family with a toddler and really enjoyed our experience. The food was tasty, unique and great portions, coffee was really tasty! Staff was very friendly and polite. Restaurant is newly renovated and clean. Highly recommend it!

I had been attempting to try this restaurant for months and was not disappointed when I finally got the chance! The food is amazing if you are looking for a different breakfast experience and reasonably priced. Pancakes and mushroom toast were absolutely delicious!

What a gem! A bit of a wait but we all agreed it was well worth it. All wholesome food, fresh ingredients and low sodium. We made many modifications to our choices without any issues at all. Service was lovely, attentive without being intrusive. FYI - The restrooms are up a flight of stairs. Vegan options, vegetarian options as well. Excellent kafta!! Lebneh was lovely, seasoned three ways. Highly recommend. #localguide

Definitely a quaint brunch place to visit in Ottawa downtown area. I had the Shakshuka and pancakes which was delicious! Can't wait to come back and try other food menu items.

Food, service and atmosphere is and was amazing !!! I would highly recommend this spot for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner! All the food selection and menu is worth the wait and time. The service was friendly, attentive and very welcoming. The restaurant is very clean and I would again highly recommend this as a date spot or anything else.

I've only ever had Mazarine's Mediterranean-inspired brunch dishes for take-out, so I was excited to dine-in with friends recently!.My food blog Instagram: mimi.munches.The dishes featured in these photos are:.Classic Breakfast ($15): Two eggs your way, bacon, sausage, fruits, home fries and toast of your choice.Shakshuka ($15.50): This was the favourite of our group! Two baked eggs, homemade shakshuka sauce, sourdough bread - make sure to order extra bread to sop up all the deliciousness of the sauce. Even though this was vegetarian, it was very hearty and satisfying..Beef Kofta Sandwich ($15): Garlic tahini sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, pita bread served with french fries (halal). This was a delicious wrap, with tender and well-spiced meat. One thing we all noted was that Mazarine does potatoes REALLY well. The home fries in the classic breakfast were super crispy, and so were the fries in this dish!.For dessert, we chose to try the Ashta Pancakes ($10.50): Homemade jam, ashta, topped with pistachio and honey. This was not too sweet, and was nice way to end the meal..For drinks, we tried the Mango & Pineapple Sparkling Hard Tea (from Collective Arts Brewing, $6), a Matcha Latte ($4.65), and their Turkish Coffee ($3.75), which has finely ground coffee beans infused with cardamom. Served with Turkish delight (contains nuts)..We sat at the table right near the window, which was great for people-watching!

We had an amazing brunch at Mazarine. We were a group of 13 and everyone worked tirelessly to accomodate us and give us the best experience possible. I truly appreciated the great customer service. We had the watermelon halloumi, which was just perfect with the touch of mint that it had. I was so nostalgic having the labneh with its 3 different herb mixes. We also enjoyed the pancakes with ashta very much. They were so amazingly fluffy and rich. Needless to say the coffee was just perfect!

Nice and fun place to eat . The music was from the 90-2000 loved the playlist . The food was ok had eggs and bacon the potatoes we not to my liking but to each there own . They were to crispy . The cranberry jus is not cranberry jus it’s a cocktail mix of some sort. The high light was the chai late and the pancakes . Overall I’d go back for the service pancakes and chai latte hands down . Meal cost about 35$

Awesome experience and great food! The atmosphere is clean and a bit tight knit. The limited seating may mean a bit of a wait but it's well worth it.The Turkish coffee was amazing, especially with the lil Turkish delight it comes with! I would go here again in a heartbeat.

Truly such a fantastic experience! Absolutely loved their pancakes, avocado toast and the shakshuka. The service was amazing despite of the rush hour. Will surely be back for those pomegranate mimosas!
