My family and I love Mary Brown's chicken. We have enjoyed their fried chicken recipe in many different locations. Without a doubt, this location has the best quality chicken and always gives a full helping of sides. I highly recommend Ms. Brown's chicken but this location in particular is our go-to.
It's my 2nd time going there and this time they got the wrong order?..I specifically asked for regular and no drumsticks and I got 1 drumstick n some spicy ? Even taters didn't taste the same as last time...lacking salt . I will not stop going there because of 1 mistake but next time I will have to double check everything before I leave cuz $40 is a LOT!
I'm not one to rave about fast food - but my goodness, Mary Brown's is good. My kids now ask for nothing else when we say we're ordering in. The 'Nashville Mary' sandwich is a work of art. The 'Taters' - essentially seasoned wedge fries - are a nice change from french fries. Everything always tastes fresh. And for service: one employee in particular always goes above and beyond, helping customers and ensuring they're happy. I don't know her name, but she's one of those souls who cares about her job, and it shows. After 4 visits this year, we've had zero issues and many happy faces.
Me and my friends (3) all got Big Mary combos Sunday, March 13th. We all agreed that the chicken seemed to be much smaller then usual, also dried out with more of a hard crunchy skin rather then a nice crispy finish. Everyone felt like the sandwich needed more sauce with one feeling like he didn’t get any sauce at all. Taters and fries were better but still not what you would expect. The staff were very friendly and we did get our food promptly which makes writing the review harder as we are not the ones to go the extra mile in the first place, which is why we also decided to write one review instead of 4. Sincerely a Newfie in Ontario.
Very good chicken. I refridge most of the tatters to make hash browns. Cut up add onion and butter fry medium heat for about 15 minutes. Tastes great.
The chicken is way too salty. It didn't taste good at all. The patato wedges were soggy and no flavour. First time trying and will not go back.
Had the spicy chicken sandwich with crispy pickled chips and wedges. The sandwich was crispy and delicious, the pickled chips I though were really good also. The wedges were pretty good. I’ll give this place a 4.2 and I would go back for sure .
I'm going to have to re-examine my relationship with the Colonel. I've been faithful to the Colonel for nearly 50 years. I’ve avoided cheap hookups with other chicken places, but I cheated. I met Mary and OMG. There’s something about Mary Brown. Her delicious salty thighs and breasts are nothing compared to the Colonel's drumsticks or Popeye's bulky wings. I wish there were more locations near me but this one sure made me happy. Both the regular and hot & spicy were delicious. The hot & spicy actually was hot & spicy. It was almost like a giant buffalo chicken wing. I'll be back. As for the Colonel, keep in touch, I might call you for some late night chicken calls if Mary’s busy.
I went to Mary brown checked I heard that own by Indian people I was so happy because they are clean and serious in business , but when I went to the orelean location all black if you pass by the restaurant you can smile drives marawana I don't understand why Indian pitting this kind of people this is unbelievable I hope you can fix your problem other wise you business go down big time Tamil maxouler
Usually love Mary Browns but finding a feather sticking out has turned me away for a while. This was the new location in Orleans, it was a very busy night so that could have been it.
