Still not offering indoor dining. And their bathrooms are "closed" indefinitely. Brought my toddler in, and it started to pour outside. Can't eat inside. Also can't use the bathroom. Still clinging to those non-existent covid restrictions to save a few bucks on labour I guess.
They gave me the scoop of ice cream already melted. I had to swallow the ice cream so I wouldn't do a mess instead of enjoying it. The lady told me they just did the ice cream, but they should warn people first. Not cool
I took my 3 kids for ice cream here today and everyone loved it. My daughter says it was really good and she thinks she'd like to get her birthday cake from here this year. The staff were friendly, patient, and helpful. We'll be back!
Great ice cream. Waffle bones/cones can be extremely stale. Hit or miss with the servers. Our server this time acted as if he was being held against his will making our ice cream and had a "don't care whatsoever" attitude.Also, I'd ask that the employees please start wearing HAIRNETS. I've found hair in my ice cream on multiple occasions, and it's absolutely disgusting.
Waited 10 minutes on a cold weeknight, only to spend 8$ on a mini cup of ice cream. I understand that prices should be higher than normal, but that is simply a rip off!
I'm always shocked to see people lined up at Marble Slab when they could just as easily walk a few blocks in either direction to discover some of the best ice cream and gelato shops in the city. Marble Slab is an American chain serving up super-sized portions of low quality ice cream. Very disappointing the few times I've given it a try. The flavours are extremely artificial and it tastes more like "frozen dessert" than real ice cream.
We picked up an icecream cake for a birthday but it tasted like mold, specifically the chocolate sauce on top of the cake. It was disgusting and really concerning that they serve moldy food to people. Hoping we don't get sick. Never buying from there again.
We live in the area and this location has slowly been going downhill. The last straw was a recent visit. While in the store it took at least 10 minutes to get service as the server was in the back with her headphones on and couldn't hear us. She seemed very annoyed when we finally got her attention. In addition, the selection of toppings is almost laughable. They also removed fruit as an option too (e.g. blueberries, etc.). Too many other options in the area for ice cream to give this place another chance. We wont be back.
I have been to several marble slabs in other provinces, this is definitely the worst location I've been in. They never have a good selection of candies, they stopped smarties, kit Kat, nestle crunch and skor. To make matters worse, the cones and waffle bowls are so brown and burnt that you're better off having your ice cream in a cup. The ice cream is actually good but these things diminish the experience especially for someone who drives almost 30mins to get here.
