One of the best Italian restaurants we’ve ever been to! From Italy to the U.S., we’ve never had an experience like this one. The food is amazing and the place is heartwarming. A special thanks to our waiter for the night, Gary, who was simply amazing. He made our night entertaining and fun while being very respectful and kind. A must go for anyone!
An amazing night out for everyone. This was just a very special place in Ottawa and I can’t wait to be back. I celebrated my birthday here on a Saturday evening and I could not have chosen a better place.Extremely attentive staff and a great food selection. I was very happy with my pasta dishes and our appetizers were very nice too. They brought out a little cake with a candle on it and we had some espresso to finish the night off. I think we were in there for like three hours just enjoy the atmosphere.Thank you to the whole staff, you were all amazing.
Better & better. Been a couple of years since last visit. This time, great service, rack of lamb was perfect, as was the pan seared halibut. Great selection of wines. Chef’s seafood pasta was excellent. Calamari appy was very lightly breaded and cooked to perfection.
Our first visit to the Chelsea location. The waitress was great, loved the service. Was a little cold and uncomfortable sitting in what seem to be a little room that would be used during the summer. My main complaint is that the menu in Chelsea is more expensive than the location in center town. I wish I would have known. I don't mind paying for a good meal but you assume that you will be paying the same price at the same restaurant. I NOTICED SOME ITEMS WERE $6.00 TO $7.00 HIGHER THAN DOWNTOWN. SO DISAPPOINTING WILL NOT RETURN. I HATE BEING RIPPED OFF.
Best traditionnal Italian in Ottawa! Great service, amazing food and wine! The Chef Special Seafood Pasta is the best seafood pasta ever! I defenetely highly recommend this restaurant for family or romantic dinner!
Four meals purchased and all were at least $29. Only meal included and two pieces of bread...no salad or other side. I had the spaghetti bolognaise. Had a weird taste and the noodles tasted hard and store bought. The rest of my family seemed to enjoy their food. I would not go back...too expensive and food was just okay.
Order my favorite Saltimboca - Awesome as always. The veggies were cooked perfectly. I don't even like flat snow peas and yet they would cooked but still crunchie and flavourful. I ate all my veggies! The kids had some Linguini Marcella and my mom had the lemon chicken. We were all happy and would order again.
Food is always superb, the atmosphere is very good as well. It's always busy though, you may never get a really nice table for two there. Many options of Italian wine. I've been there: 2 times. Portion: Fair. Service: Good. Live music: No. Busy: Yes, very. Family friendly? Yes. Drinks: Wine Would I go back? Yes.
A highly suggest restaurant for romantic date night!We ordered a chef’s special seafood pasta and a lobster ravioli.While the pasta was very filling, the lobster ravioli was very small in size.The server also gave out a perfect wine under our comments and suggestions.The server must’ve forgotten when we asked for more bread, that we kept waiting but had to ask again towards the end.Overall, I enjoyed the dinner here at Mamma Teresa!
Me and my bf went there to celebrate our 4th anniversary as we went there on our very 1st date. The vibe and the food are still the same. Delicious and we had a great time!
