The food is amazing, Used to go to this Cafe at lunch while working. Always one of the greats. Super busy you will be lucky to get a seat. Waited a pretty long time for an egg sandwhich one time. As it stared and stared at me on the counter. Finally some realized it was my to go order after dropping all the dishes off and noticing my paper bag. A to go egg sandwhich should not take long or sit and get cold. The one gentlemen serves how he wants. Kinda thinks he is an owner lol. Other than that great place.
Pancakes not the thing to get here. Burnt on outside, raw and sour tasting on the inside. Very uncomfortable chairs. Great service though.

Always enjoy going here. Great food, nothing fancy, just satisfying! Love the local art on the walls too, really adds to the place. Still haven't tried the cinnamon buns but man, they look delicious!!
Definitely one of the best places for breakfast in Ottawa. Always delicious, great service. The home fries are amazing and I really enjoyed the brie and bacon omelette!The staff is very respectful of your comfort level - if you wear a mask they will too when they come to your table.
