Friendly staff and speady service. We were seated right away, and served withen a very timely manner.I had a 8oz top sirloin steak, loaded potato, mushrooms and fresh vegetables . The steak was cooked correctly and had the right amount of flavor on it. The potato was by far the best baked potato I've ever had, The crust on it was just perfect and the potato was huge! The vegetables and mushrooms were cooked and seasoned perfectly as well.??

The seafood linguin was good, but the sauce could be elevated with some heat and more spices. Overall ok, but I would never get it again. The ribs and steak looked more appealing.
I was pleasantly surprised when I called the day before New Years and was able to get a reservation. This was my first time to this restaurant and I would go back. When we arrived our table was not ready and there were several others waiting as well. No big deal, it was NYE and things happen. Our server suggested a special NYE cocktail of Prosecco with Champagne which sounded like a strange combination however we figured why not. When the cocktails arrived they were a dark pink colour with a marachino cherry (ick) and not what was described by the server. We sent them back and ordered the Joel Gott cab sauv which was rich and delightful. Our server was super helpful with menu selection and we decided to share the caesar salad as well as the salmon tartar. Both were tasteful and well prepared. For our mains, we both chose the yellowfin tuna steak which took a very long time to arrive however we were enjoying the wine and atmosphere so we were not too bothered by it and our server kindly offered us fresh rolls ( after the first ones that were brought to us were rock hard). When they did finally arrive the tuna looked completely different from one plate to the other in that mine was a brownish colour and my dinner companions was the pinkish/red colour you would expect. I brought it to the attention of our server who took them away from the table and then brought them back with the manager shortly after. The manager had a detailed explanation as to why it was that way and so ( with hesitancy) we kept our plates. I took a couple of small bites and all I could taste was fish which is not how tuna is supposed to taste. The server again gave an explanation regarding the tuna telling me it was actually fresher than the other and perhaps that was how come it tasted fishy?! Anyways, she kindly took it back and offered me a replacement which I declined as time was getting on. In the end, there was enough on my dinner companions plate for us to share however not really the point.So, a few blips for sure however I would be willing to give it another try.
Special thanks to Marina for the great service. We had a perfectly cooked top sirloin with super sweet fresh beans. Salmon tartar was heavenly but more appetizer than main. Side-salad was as big as the main dish. Prime Rib au Jus sandwich was delicious and came with a huge portion. Artichoke dips best in its class unfortunately used bagged chips. Music is amazing and great atmosphere for a date night. A must location for the steak alone.
Incredible spot downtown definitely should bring your date here. Service was amazing and food tops it off I had the ribs I had heard good reviews had to see for myself and wow the meat just fell off the bone like it was nothing the taste incredible definitely my favorite new spot for ribs. The wife had steak and it was perfection will be coming back for more food in the very near future.Check out this gem now!!
I'm torn about this place. We live next door and have gone there often over the years. The food never disappoints, the atmosphere reminds me of a fancy steakhouse in Manhattan, and the staff is friendly. So what's the turn-off? The overbearing servers -- they never leave you to eat in peace. Always, ALWAYS at our table, asking questions and interrupting the conversation, and chewing enjoyment. We feel rushed, even when the restaurant's empty, and just plain annoyed. For such a high-end restaurant, they just don't pick up on social clues -- "If I want something else, I'll let you know." So instead of crossing the street, we drive somewhere else for steak we like half as much to spare ourselves the bother.
