Amazingly tasty, and cheap pies. My partner and I got a Zaatar with veggies ($3.25) and Meat with veggies ($3.25) pies. We ate them on our Sunday stroll, and found them very filling (a small lunch). The way they’re wrapped was also very efficient; never falling apart and easily kept between the wax papers.
Went to lili pies off gladstone in little italy for veggie pies. Five stars for friendly staff, pleasant set up and good prices. Also ordered a coffee and was greeted with a fresh pot. Very courteous. will order veggie samosa if they have next time.
Owner never wears a mask, today because I’ve been gaining weight I ripped my shirt. The owner made a pretty offensive comment about it. Currently I am struggling with an eating disorder and the days I don’t eat there sometimes I don’t eat at all- this not only wasn’t appropriate and really hurtful to say to a customer- you shouldn’t say it to anyone. You have no idea what they are going through.
